A method of searching a femtocell access point includes: transmitting configuration/measurement information an operating frequency and a transmission power strength from multiple femtocell access points located within the macro cell to an OSM)/CPC server; and receiving, at the OSM/CPC server, the configuration/measurement information from the femtocell access points, and generating a femtocell access point list usable in a mobile terminal to provide the generated femtocell access point list to the mobile terminal. The method further includes selecting, at the mobile terminal, one femtocell access point from the femtocell access point list provided from the OSM/CPC server and accessing the selected femtocell access point.

Provided are a bandpass sampling receiver and a filter design and reconfiguration method thereof. The bandpass sampling receiver includes: an analog-digital converter converting an analog wireless signal into a digital baseband signal; and a complex baseband signal extraction unit generating a first path signal and a second path signal from the digital baseband signal and extracting a complex baseband signal using a relative sample delay difference between the first and second path signals, wherein the first path signal is a down sampled signal after the digital baseband signal is sample-delayed and the second path signal is a down sampled signal without sample-delaying the digital baseband signal.

A method for searching for a base station using paging procedure in a mobile communication network has a paging agent that performs the paging procedure. The method includes: receiving, at the paging agent, subscriber information including information of a service, to which a mobile node subscribed, from a home location register while performing a location registration procedure in response to a location registration request from the mobile node; setting an available scan time based on the time required to perform the paging procedure; generating a paging request message including the available scan time and the subscriber information to send the paging request message to a base station required for paging; and generating base station information based on the subscriber information to input into the paging request message to transmit with the available scan time to the mobile node.

Provided is a method for providing a service, and a method and an apparatus for allocating a resource in a wireless communication system. Services to be provided to users are divided into one of primary and secondary services based on priority in terms of frequency utilization. A service is provided using frequency channel remaining after being used in the primary service in a time zone when frequency utilization rate of the primary service is a threshold value or less. Accordingly, when service data corresponding to the secondary service are received, a user terminal stores the service data in a storage unit. Then, when the user requests provision of the corresponding service, the user terminal provides the stored service data to the user.

Provided is a band pass sampling receiver which performs a sampling operation to a combined signal of RF signals of different frequency bands. The band pass sampling receiver performs the sampling operation by applying a sampling rate having a time lag to a combined signal of first and second RF signals of different frequency bands. And, by using a result of the sampling operation and first and second interpolant functions, the first and second RF signals are separated from each other. Herein, the first and second interpolant functions are determined based on the time lag, the sampling rate and frequency bands of the first and second RF signals.According to the band pass sampling receiver according to the embodiment of the present invention, the band pass sampling receiver selects the one frequency band among the plurality of frequency bands including the RF signals respectively by reconstituting of the signal process unit.

A decoding method and apparatus of a retransmission communication system are provided. In the decoding method and apparatus, weights are applied to error data and retransmitted data, and the resulting error data and the resulting retransmitted data are chase-combined. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the coding rate of combined data and enhance the reliability of decoding.

The present invention relates to a service mode switching method based on a software communication architecture (SCA) of a reconfigurable base station system. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, first and second service mode software component files are stored and managed by separating the first and second service mode software component files into a common component file used for first and second modes in common and first and second mode individual component files individually used for the first and second modes. When the first mode is established according to an applied request, the first mode individual component file is operated, and the base station in the first mode is operated. When the second mode is established according to another applied request, the operation of the first mode individual component file is stopped.

An AND logic operation rule capable of carrying out an AND logic operation between binary digits and an AND logic operation between multi-nary digits is defined and an AND logic device utilizing the AND logic operation is disclosed. The AND logic operator having three multi-nary logic inputs consists of two multi-nary AND logic operators having two inputs, respectively. The multi-nary AND logic operator carries out the function of the prior binary AND logic operation and the function of the binary-multi-nary AND logic operation.

Disclosed is a dual band receiver which includes an analog-to-digital converter configured to convert a dual band analog RF signal into a dual baseband digital signal; and a first signal extractor configured to generate a first path signal and a second path signal from the dual baseband signal and to extract a first baseband signal using a relative sample delay difference between the first and second path signals, wherein the dual baseband signal includes the first baseband signal and a second baseband signal, the first path signal is a signal obtained by sample delay of the dual baseband signal and then down sampling of a resultant signal, and the second path signal is a signal obtained by down sampling of the dual baseband signal without sample delay.
