Abstract:
A precision blanking tool mounted in a press, which may be a transfer press, comprises an upper part with an upper tool support and a lower part with a lower tool support. One hydraulic unit is accommodated in the upper part of the precision blanking tool and another in the lower part. The upper hydraulic unit is inserted with the upper tool support in an interchangeable frame and the lower hydraulic unit with the lower tool support in another frame. The hydraulic units are controlled with pressurized oil by drive means forming a separate unit.
Abstract:
A press, especially a precision cutting press, for producing precision cut parts from a metal strip or a preform by means of a tool, which is fixed to a top tool clamping plate and a bottom tool clamping plate, wherein a tappet is allocated to one of the tool clamping plates. The tappet is supported against an element fixed to the machine by means of at least one tappet drive piston unit, which is fixedly connected to an opposite element that is also fixed to the machine by means of at least two guide columns, the other tool clamping plate being disposed in said element, whereby the tappet can be displaced along the guide column.
Abstract:
A method of producing and stacking components from individual layers which are punched, cut or the like out of a hardened material strip. According to the method, layers are removed from a hardened material strip, the removed layers are pressed back into the material strip and pressed out of the latter in a subsequent station (ii). They are then inserted into a stack magazine in which the individual layers are centered and assembled to form a component, the component then being removed from the stack magazine.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process and a device for producing burr-free workpieces by blanking using a counterblanking tool. The counterblanking tool has an upper tool and a lower tool which include respectively an upper blanking die and a lower blanking die and an upper punch and a lower punch. The counterblanking tool further includes a ram plate which moves one of the upper and lower tools towards the other of the upper and lower tools. The ram plate moves in a continuous ram stroke during which a blanking strip from which a workpiece is to be blanked is clamped between the upper and the lower tool. During the initial portion of the blanking operation, the blanking dies remain in place while a first one of the punches, travels further and a second one of the punches travels back until a limit stop is reached. During this travel the first punch cuts partly into the blanking strip. After movement of the punches is stopped, one of the blanking dies travels against the limit stop and pushes the other of said blanking dies so that the dies slide along the punches and the second one of the punches cuts the workpiece out from the blanking strip. Thereafter the ram stroke is stopped and reversed so that the tools are separated and the workpiece is pushed out of the counterblanking tool.

Abstract:
In a method for the bending of workpieces by swivel bending jaws, the bent-off part is to assume a predetermined bending angle with respect to the workpiece, for this purpose, in a first bending operation, at least one corresponding leg is to be bent off from the workpiece by means of the swivel bending jaws. Then, the swivel bending jaws are released from the leg and a springback of the leg or the actual bending angle is determined by direct measurements and compared with a set bending angle. Subsequently, an agreement is established between set bending angle and actual bending angle by a renewed bending operation, by a bending-over.
Abstract:
A process for precision cutting of a hole near the edge of a thin workpiece. Clamping of the workpiece laterally adjacent the hole to minimize deformation of the workpiece is achieved prior to cutting the hole with a cutting punch.
Abstract:
An arrangement for positioning components such as die or mold plates in shaping machinery, in which a positioning element is inserted into matching bores in the components to be positioned. The positioning element or device is provided with a cylindrical jacket around an axial bore and a continuous through-going slot. An elastic rod is inserted into the axial bore and is subjected to force from at least one end, for the purpose of increasing the thickness of the elastic rod and widening the cylindrical jacket so as to position the component. The components have, thereby, an elastic connection through the elastic rod. The continuous through-running slot provides elasticity by widening in accordance with the force that is applied.
Abstract:
In a method for producing workpieces of metal having profiled outer and/or inner contours which have any desired shape contours and are or can be profiled in thickness, the workpiece (R) is to be divided in terms of construction into simple part-profiles (4, 7, 13, 14), which are then produced by precision blanking and then fitted together and joined to one another by lamination to form the finished part.
