    摘要: A transmitting node uses different reference signal sequences for different types of enhanced control channels. An example method begins with generating (1410) a first reference signal sequence, from a first initialization value, and generating (1420) a second reference signal sequence, from a second initialization value. These reference signal sequences are associated with two corresponding enhanced control transmissions. A first enhanced control channel and reference symbols taken from the first reference signal sequence are transmitted (1430), using first time-frequency resources and a first set of transmission points or a first set of antenna ports or both, and a second enhanced control channel and reference symbols taken from the second reference signal sequence are also transmitted (1440), using a differing second set of transmission points and/or a differing second set of antenna ports and/or a differing second set of time-frequency resources, in the same subframe or group of subframes.

    摘要: A method in a user equipment for arranging a Physical Uplink Control Channel, PUCCH, transmission to a network node in a telecommunications system is provided. The PUCCH transmission comprises control information for downlink transmissions. The control information is Reed-Müller, RM, encoded using at least two RM codewords and transmitted using Alamouti encoded transmit diversity over at least two antenna ports. The control information comprises a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence. The user equipment arranges the first bit sequence and the second bit sequence, such that at least two bits from the first bit sequence and second bit sequence, that subsequently are Alamouti encoded together, originates from the same RM codeword of the at least two RM codewords. This is performed in order to enable control information encoded using one RM codeword to be processed independently from control information encoded using another RM codeword at the network node.

    摘要: Accurate downlink channel estimates are calculated based on infrequently transmitted Channel State Information (CSI) feedback data from a UE 20. A plurality of non-uniformly spaced digital CSI feedback samples, representing the frequency response of a downlink communication channel, is received from the UE. The received CSI feedback samples are demodulated and inverse quantized. A time domain tap delay channel model is generated from the inverse quantized CSI feedback samples. The time domain tap delay channel model may be frequency-transformed to obtain a reconstructed frequency response of the downlink communication channel in the frequency domain. Alternatively, channel delays may be estimated based on prior delays and/or known references signals transmitted on the uplink. Channel estimates between CSI reporting instances may be predicted, such as by a sample & hold or a linear predictor. The delays may be presumed fixed, and Kalman filter coefficients evolved over time.

The methods further include setting, based on the method applied for the channel coding, an offset value indicative of the difference in code rate between the code rate of the CQI/PMI information and the assigned code rate of the UL-SCH data information on the PUSCH. The methods also include determining, based on the offset value, the number of coded bits to be used for transmission of the CQI/PMI information, and transmitting the CQI/PMI information to a radio access network node on resources assigned based on the determined number of coded bits.

    摘要: A new uplink control channel capability is introduced to enable a mobile terminal (1500, 1600) to simultaneously report multiple packet receipt status bits and channel-condition bits. In an example embodiment, an encoding circuit (1100) encodes the hybrid-ARQ ACK/NACK bits using a first encoder (1110) and separately encodes the channel-state information bits using a second encoder (1120). The encoded hybrid-ARQ ACK/NACK bits and the encoded channel-state information bits are interleaved, and the interleaved, encoded bits are transmitted in physical control channel resources of a first uplink subframe, on a single carrier. In some embodiments, the interleaved, encoded bits are transmitted in two slots of the first uplink subframe, the two slots having different subcarrier frequencies. In these embodiments, each slot carries a plurality of the encoded hybrid-ARQ ACK/NACK bits and a plurality of the encoded channel-state information bits.
