    摘要: A display apparatus includes a scanning line, a signal line, and a pixel circuit. The pixel circuit is selected according to a signal applied to the scanning line, and a signal is input to the selected pixel circuit from the signal line. The pixel circuit include a holding capacitor, a first switch which opens and closes connection between one terminal of the light emitting element and the signal line in accordance with a signal applied to the scanning line, and a second switch which opens and closes connection between one terminal of the holding capacitor and the signal line in accordance with a signal applied to the scanning line. First and a second voltage supplies are switchably connected to the signal line, and during a period when the pixel circuit is selected, the first voltage supply is connected to the signal line and the first switch is closed so that a voltage of the first voltage supply is applied to a terminal of the light emitting element, and the second voltage supply is connected to the signal line and the second switch is closed and the first switch is opened, so that a voltage of the second voltage supply is applied to one terminal of the holding capacitor. A voltage of the first voltage supply is determined based on a terminal-to-terminal voltage of the light emitting element when a voltage of the second voltage supply is applied to the holding capacitor and current flows in the light emitting element.

A degradation characteristic acquisition circuit acquires degradation characteristics of a pixel region, and a boundary portion detection circuit detects a boundary of the degradation characteristics. A correction amount operation circuit arithmetically operates a correction amount based on the boundary, and a video signal correction circuit corrects a video signal. The correction amount is determined based on the boundary of the degradation characteristics such that emission luminance is gently varies in a periphery of a boundary of a pixel due to the burn-in phenomenon, and whereby the burn-in phenomenon becomes inconspicuous.

    摘要: Conventional I-form crystals of 5-hydroxy-1-methylhydantoin contain, remaining therein in a considerable amount, the organic solvent used in a purification step. In contrast, in II-form crystals, the amount of the organic solvent remaining therein is smaller than the detection limit. Namely, the II-form crystals contain substantially no residual organic solvent. The novel II-form crystals of 5-hydroxy-1-methylhydantoin obtained through recrystallization from water not only contain substantially no residual organic solvent, but also have a high bulk density and are hence advantageous for pharmaceutical preparation. They further have properties advantageous for production, such as low adhesion. The crystals are significantly useful as a material for medicines required to have high safety, such as drugs for renal insufficiency.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a semiconductor production technology capable of preventing the peeling of the electrode which occurs in die bonding or wire bonding. There is provided a semiconductor element having an electrode in a surface or in a rear face of a semiconductor substrate, the semiconductor element having a structure in which an amorphous silicon layer 106 is inserted in between an electrode 107 and a semiconductor substrate 101, wherein hydrogen is not added to the amorphous silicon layer 106. Furthermore, an amorphous silicon layer 104 is inserted also in the interface between an electrode 105 and an insulating layer 103, and in the interface between the insulating layer and the semiconductor substrate. Moreover, the present invention is equally applicable to a semiconductor laser having an insulating layer, which serves as a reflective layer, in an oscillating surface side of light, and insulating layers, which serve as a multilayer reflective layer, in a non-oscillating surface side.

    摘要: A laminate comprising at least two layers of a photosensitive resin layer and a polyimide precursor resin layer; a process for formation of an insulating protective layer using a laminate which comprises laminating a laminate comprising at least photosensitive resin layer and a polyimide precursor resin layer on an insulating board having an exposed circuit; selectively exposing the photosensitive resin layer to active light; developing the resultant photosensitive resin layer; removing the exposed polyimide precursor resin layer by etching it with an alkaline solution using the photosensitive resin layer as a mask; removing the photosensitive resin layer; and then curing the residual polyimide precusor resin layer; and a process for preparation of a printed circuit which comprises forming a polymide precursor resin layer on an insulating board having an exposed circuit, patterning the resin layer with an alkaline solution, and then curing it.The laminate of this invention can provide extremely easily an insulating protective layer for circuits having a high processing precision and excellent in reliability on insulation. Further, a printed circuit having a high processing precision and excellent in reliability on insulation can be provided extremely easily by the processes of this invention.

    摘要: A display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels disposed in a matrix pattern, each of the pixels emitting light, an acquisition unit for acquiring degradation characteristics of an emission luminance of each pixel from a video signal or a signal output from the pixel, and a detection unit for detecting a boundary of pixels showing different degradation characteristics of the plurality of pixels based on the degradation characteristics acquired by the acquisition unit. A calculation unit calculates a correction amount of the video signal to the pixels in a periphery of the boundary such that the emission luminance is gently varied in the periphery of the boundary when the plurality of pixels in the periphery of the boundary detected by the detection unit are caused to emit light with a same video signal. In addition, a correction unit corrects the video signal based on the calculated correction amount, and a video image is displayed by the plurality of pixels based on the corrected video signal.
