    摘要: A charge air duct for an internal combustion engine includes a housing with at least one entrance and at least one exit for charge air, a first heat exchanger arranged inside the housing to cool the charge air, a bypass arranged on the housing to at least partially circumvent the heat exchanger, and an actuator arranged on the housing to influence the charge air flow. The charge air is guided from the entrance to the first heat exchanger in a first position of the actuator and from the entrance to the bypass in a second position of the actuator, and the bypass leads upstream of a second heat exchanger of the charge air duct.

    摘要: A filter arrangement with a cellular structure in which a plurality of filter chambers extend in the direction of the medium to be filtered. There is a filter cloth or fabric attached to each of the two sides of a cell frame which closes the filter chambers on both sides. The filter chambers are each provided with a filling of predominantly active charcoal granules. To achieve a simple and advantageous structure of the filter arrangement, the cellular structure is in the form of a rectangular cell frame each with rectangular filter chambers, preferably made of synthetic resin. Appropriate, right-angled partition walls inside the cell frame and the installation of reinforcement members can result in filter chambers of optimum size.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for determining the performance of a secondary air charging system for an internal combustion engine in order to determine the amount of secondary air supplied in the secondary air charging system. This is achieved by measuring the heat generated by the compression of the secondary air with temperature sensors. Insofar as the secondary air charging system is powered by a turbine arranged in parallel with the throttle valve in the intake tract, the measured temperature value for the compressor can be compared with a reduction in temperature of the intake air behind the turbine. Reliable information concerning the amount of secondary air supplied can be determined by simple sensors, thereby obviating the need for an air-mass sensor which is expensive to produce and sensitive to contamination.

    摘要: An activated carbon filter is provided for venting a fuel tank. The activated carbon filter consists of a housing which accommodates activated carbon packets. Via lines, the housing is connected, on the one hand, by way of a first connection with the fuel tank, and on the other hand, by way of a second connection with the intake pipe, particularly that of a combustion engine. A third connection connects the housing with the atmosphere. The housing has a first partition which extends between the connection for the atmosphere and the connection for the tank. At least one other partition is provided which forms at least one other chamber. Each of the chambers is filled with activated carbon.

    摘要: An electromagnetic two-stage clutch for the driving of units, especially refrigerant compressors in motor vehicles. The clutch includes electromagnets and a drive disk. The drive disk is adapted to be frictionally engaged by driving a shaft of the unit with the aid of electromagnets through armature disks, selectively, by two pulleys of differing diameters. The pulleys are connected with a counter pulley by way of V-belts. The drive disk is mounted in a supported fashion in a neck of the unit and is arranged between the two pulleys. One pulley is supported on the outside or outer surface of the neck of the unit.
