    摘要: The invention provides a small, lightweight connector that is appropriate for the handling of fluids, a fluid supply apparatus that makes use thereof, a movable body, a fluid supply system, a connector connection method, and a connector separation method. A supply side connector provided on a fluid supply apparatus, and an inlet side connector, each have an inner cylinder which constitutes a connection part of both supply lines, and an outer cylinder which encloses the inner cylinder and which constitutes a connection part of both vent lines. A second supply valve is provided on the respective supply lines, and carries out switching between restriction and release of the flow of the fluid through the supply line by changing the position in the axial direction of the inner cylinder. A second vent valve is provided on the vent line of the inlet side connector, and carries out switching between restriction and release of the flow of the fluid through the vent line.

    摘要: An integrated circuit device has a frame of semiconductor material and blocks of the same semiconductor material situated in a space or spaces substantially enclosed by the frame, with the blocks being spaced from the frame and having circuit elements therein which are interconnected by beam leads also functioning as the sole means mechanically coupling or locating the blocks relative to the frame. Certain of the beam leads project beyond the periphery of the frame and all of the beam leads are substantially coplanar and constitute the highest elevations on the circuit device so that the projecting beam leads can be conveniently bonded to conductive areas on a substrate, such as a circuit board, defining external circuits.

    摘要: Execution commands corresponding to the type of gesture are stored and by acquiring coordinate values of accepted handwriting input including gesture on a display screen, handwriting is displayed. When handwriting input is accepted, display data of handwriting is updated. When handwriting input is not completed, it is decided whether or not handwriting input is gesture input. When it is decided that the handwriting input is gesture input, the type of gesture is decided on the basis of the coordinate values of gesture on the display screen, an execution command corresponding to the type of gesture is read and the fact that the handwriting input is gesture input is displayed. When gesture input is completed, the execution command corresponding to gesture input is executed. Therefore, the user can make handwriting input according to the user's intent without performing mode switching.

    摘要: A method is disclosed for making a light emitting diode having positive and negative electrodes which includes forming a first conductive metal layer on a substrate of insulating material, a second conductive layer of a metal different from the first is then formed on the exposed surface of the first layer. The two layers are then etched to form aligned narrow openings and thereafter the first layer is overetched in its opening with the second opening being used as a mask to form a relatively large opening aligned with the narrow opening of the second layer. This leaves the first opening with a pair of eaves overhanging the relatively large opening of the first opening. The dimensions of the large opening are wider than the spacing between the positive and negative electrodes of the light emitting diode. A light emitting diode is then inserted in said aligned openings with its pn junction perpendicular to said substrate, the dimensions of the small opening being such that the eaves are bent down into electrical contact with the positive and negative electrodes of the diode.
