    摘要: A remote code reader system sends a code read by a code reader to an appropriate function by utilizing identification information assigned specific to a client in order to select a function. A barcode reader and a host computer connected to a network are included therein. An ID (pen ID) of the barcode reader 1 and a barcode as read are transmitted to the host computer through a terminal connected to the network. The host computer decodes the received pen ID to select a CGI which conforms to the pen ID, and sends the barcode to the CGI 9 as selected in order to make the CGI process it.

    摘要: A stroboscope is utilized as an input device of a golf game system (10), for example. The golf game system includes a game machine (12) as an information processing apparatus and a golf-club-shaped input device (14), and within a housing of the game machine, an imaging unit (28) is housed, and the imaging unit is provided with an image sensor (40) and an infrared-LED. By utilizing the infrared-LED, an infrared ray is intermittently emitted to a predetermined range of an upper portion of the imaging unit. Accordingly, the image sensor intermittently images a reflective body provided in the golf-club-shaped input device moving within the range. Such the stroboscope image processing of the reflective body enables calculation of a velocity, and so on as an input of the game machine.

The mobile terminal includes a communication circuit transmitting positional information representing a position of the mobile terminal to the information providing device in response to an inquiry from the information providing device. The virtual keyboard comprises a liquid crystal display for displaying thereon a keyboard having special keys and general keys, a transparent pressure-sensitive panel superimposed on the display and a computing portion that, when a special key and a general key on a pressure-sensitive panel are pushed at a time, detects the coordinate of a middle point between the two pushed positions from outputs of the pressure-sensitive panel, calculates a general key position from the special key point and the middle point and outputs a code corresponding to that position.

    摘要: A fishing game apparatus (10) has a casting rod (12) connected to a television monitor (16). The casting rod (12) is built therein with a game processor and an acceleration sensor. During casting, an acceleration signal is inputted from the acceleration sensor to the game processor. The game processor calculates a corresponding casting distance and displays, on a game screen of the monitor (16), a splashdown point according to a distance calculated. By providing a light gun in the casting rod (12), the game processor can recognize a direction of casting and move the rod in that direction on the game screen.

    摘要: The noise removing device is used in a data communication system utilizing a transmitting signal modulated by a data signal to be transmitted. The noise removing device includes a receiving section for receiving the transmitting signal, and converting it into an electric signal, so as to supply an input signal, an analog signal processing circuit for selectively passing the input signal in a first frequency range including a carrier frequency of the transmitting signal, thereby removing a first noise, for converting the passed signal into a digital signal, and for outputting the digital signal, and a digital signal processing circuit for sampling the digital signal, and for selectively passing the digital signal in a second frequency range including the carrier frequency based on a result of comparison of a pattern obtained by the sampling with a predetermined pattern, thereby removing a second noise.
