摘要:
A crosscurrent heat exchanger body made up of a stack of joined, parallel flow web plates (1), and a hollow chamber (5) for flow across them between each two successive web plates, with the cover layers (2,2') of successive web plates being sloped toward one another at their ends over the hollow chamber (5) enclosed between them, and being joined tightly to one another over the entire width, is disclosed.

What is disclosed is a structural element comprising a surface element of an extruded rigid plastic, said surface element having at least one continuous hollow space and being secured to a support by a rod extending through said hollow space.

What is disclosed is a rigid, one-piece, shaped body, made of a biaxially stretched synthetic resin in the form of a sheet at least 1 mm thick, the edge of which does not lie in a single plane, and the surface of which is smaller than a flat initial surface enclosed by the edge and preferably approximates the mathematically minimum surface enclosed by the edge, is suitable according to the invention as a lightweight building element having high resistance to buckling. The new shaped bodies are made by shaping a flat sheet of biaxially stretched synthetic resin at least 1 mm thick, while in the thermoelastic state, so that the edge of the sheet is brought into a configuration which does not lie in one plane, and the surface enclosed by the edge is allowed to shrink back partially while in the thermoelastic state, whereby a shrinkage of the edge of the sheet is prevented by clamping the edge, and the resulting shaped body is cooled below the softening temperature before the edge clamping is loosened.

A semicylindrical roofing member includes an arch-shaped carrying rib and one cylindrically curved plastic sheet that rests on the carrying rib. At least one non-extensible strap spans the plastic sheet and holds it to the carrying rib. This strap is releasably attached to the carrying rib by catches at its ends. A strip of soft flexible material is positioned between the strap and the plastic sheet on the carrying rib and is compressed by the strap. As a result, the strap is held in position on the sheet under tensile stress and thus secures the sheet to the rib.
