    摘要: An electrophoretic display includes an electrophoretic panel, a timing control circuit, a source driver, a gate driver, and a gate line enable circuit. The timing control circuit generates a timing control signal corresponding to a refresh area of a frame according to the refresh area. The gate driver generates output enable signals corresponding to the refresh area according to the timing control signal, and the gate line enable circuit transmits scan signals of first gate lines corresponding to the refresh area to second gate lines corresponding to the refresh area according to the enabled output enable signals. The source driver drives data lines corresponding to the refresh area according to the timing control signal to charge/discharge pixels corresponding to the refresh area.

    摘要: The present invention provides a touch panel used in a display device. The touch panel of the present invention is configured to display images and to receive as well as to process instructions inputted by user's touches. A display substrate partially overlaps with an image driving circuit substrate of the touch panel. A touch sensing circuit is disposed on the inner side of the display substrate. A touch sensing processor is disposed on the inner side of a touch sensing circuit and is also electrically coupled to the touch sensing circuit. Consequently, the thickness of the touch panel as well as the overall thickness of the display device is reduced.

    摘要: A touch display panel includes a display panel and a touch sensing unit. The touch sensing unit includes first sensing series, and second sensing series. Each of the first sensing series includes a plurality of first transparent sensing pads disposed along a first direction, and a plurality of non-transparent bridge lines disposed along the first direction. Each of the non-transparent bridge lines is disposed between two adjacent first transparent sensing pads, overlapping with two adjacent first transparent sensing pads, and electrically connected to two adjacent first transparent sensing pads. The line width of each non-transparent bridge line is substantially between 0.5 micrometers and 10 micrometers, and the reduction of aperture ratio in a pixel region of the touch display panel caused by the non-transparent bridge lines is substantially between 0.1% and 5%.

    摘要: A shift register unit includes a plurality of register units electrically coupled in cascade. Each register unit outputs an output pulse according to a first clock signal, a second clock signal and an output pulse of a previous register unit. Each register unit includes a first switch unit, a second switch unit, a third switch unit, a fourth switch unit, and a driving unit. The first switch unit is used for conducting the input pulse to a first node when the first switch is turned on. The second switch unit is used for conducting the output pulse of the register unit according to the first clock signal to an output end when the second switch unit is turned on in response to the input pulse. The third switch unit electrically coupled to a supply end is used for conducting a supply voltage to the output end when the second switch unit is turned off. The fourth switch unit electrically coupled to the supply end is used for conducting the supply voltage to the first node when the fourth switch unit is turned on in response to a driving pulse. The driving unit is used for providing the driving pulse according to the first clock signal, the second clock signal, and the input pulse.

For each unit, in an active period, the first driving device drives the first switch device to activate the output signal, and the second driving device provides a voltage signal according to the first clock signal to drive the first switch device to de-activate the output signal. When the first switch device de-activates the output signal, the second switch device provides the voltage signal to serve as the output signal according to the second clock signal. In the active period, the voltage signal has a low level, and the first and second clock signals are set as alternating-current signals and are opposite to each other. In a blanking period, the voltage signal has a high level, and each of the first and second clock signals is set as a direct-current signal.

    摘要: A shift register including shift register units substantially cascaded is disclosed. Each shift register unit is controlled by first and second clock signals opposite to each other for generating an output signal. Each shift register unit includes first and second switch devices and first and second devices. The first switch device provides the output signal through an output node. The first driving device drives the first switch device according to a first input signal to activate the output signal. The second driving device provides a first voltage signal, according to the first clock signal, to drive the first switch device and de-activate the output signal. When the first switch device de-activates the output signal, the second switch device provides the second voltage signal to the output node according to the second clock signal. A level of the first voltage signal is lower than a level of the second voltage signal.
