    摘要: A device for removing an insulation jacket from a wire core of an insulated wire or cable is provided for encouraging recycling. The device employs cutting blades engaged to a first roller to cut a slice along the length of an inserted insulated wire or cable. A frictional engagement between the distal edge of the blade and an opposing recess surface provides for translation of the length of wire through the device during rotation of one or both of the blade and recess surface. Translational movement of the blades and a biasing force can enhance the frictional engagement and provide a distance of travel to prevent cutting of the insulated wire or cable.

    摘要: The present invention provides for methods for detection, diagnosis and prognosis of beryllium-induced disease. In one embodiment, the methods include exposing immune cells from subjects suspected of having beryllium-induced disease to beryllium and assessing the Th-1 cytokines produced. Other embodiments include the use of exposing immune cells from subjects suspected of having beryllium-induced disease to beryllium and assessing Th-1 cytokines produced and using these assessments to indicate the stage of progression of the disease. Therapeutic methods involve assessing the onset or progression of beryllium-induced disease before during and after exposure to a treatment for the disease.

According to an exemplary embodiment, a first D/A converter includes a number of first control inputs and an output capable of generating a first current proportional to a number of active first control inputs. A driver includes an input connected to the output of the first D/A converter, a number of second control inputs, and an output capable of generating a second current proportional to the first current based on a number of active second control inputs. A second D/A converter includes a number of third control inputs and an output capable of generating a third current proportional to a number of active third control inputs. Offset control circuitry includes an input connected to the output of the second D/A converter, an offset control input, and an output connected to the output of the driver. The offset control circuitry is capable of summing the second and third currents at the output of the driver when the control input is active.
