摘要: A central vacuum system for collecting debris can include an autonomous vacuum system and a central vacuum fluidly connected to a remote intake port, the central vacuum being operable to generate a central airflow into the remote intake port. The autonomous vacuum system can comprise a collection bin fluidly connected to a debris intake and further include an onboard vacuum operable to generate a suction airflow from the debris intake into the collection bin to the onboard vacuum to draw debris through the debris intake into the collection bin. The autonomous vacuum system can further comprise an output connector fluidly connected to the collection bin. The output connector can be coupled to a remote intake port fluidly connected to a central vacuum operable to generate a central airflow to draw debris from the collection bin into the remote intake port positioned in the remote space.

摘要: A method of producing and treating synthesis gas in which a biomass-rich material is gasified in a gasifier containing a fluidized bed at a temperature that does not exceed 750° C. to produce a crude synthesis gas product. The crude synthesis gas then is quenched, scrubbed, and then subjected to at least one adsorption step to provide a clean synthesis gas. The clean synthesis gas then may be reformed catalytically to provide a synthesis gas with a desired H2:CO ratio, and/or may be employed in the synthesis of desired chemicals.

摘要: A process for producing synthesis gas from biomass in which biomass is contacted with oxygen and steam, wherein the oxygen is present in an amount effective to oxidize the biomass partially and to heat the biomass to a temperature of at least 500° C. and no greater than 750° C. At least a portion of the partially oxidized biomass then is treated with oxygen and steam to heat the biomass to a temperature of at least 800° C., thereby producing a synthesis gas, which then is recovered.

摘要: Various systems and apparati as well as devices and structures are provided which may be used or incorporated into air handling systems (e.g. (air) ventilation systems and apparati) for the manipulation or control of air in a enclosure such as a building, a room of a structure such as a residence, and the like. Such air handling systems (e.g. ventilation apparati or systems) may for example include an element for the transfer of heat from warm exhaust air (taken from inside an enclosure e.g. a building) to cooler exterior fresh air (drawn into the enclosure e.g. building). The present invention further relates to air handling systems (e.g. ventilation systems and apparati) which may not only exhaust stale interior air to the outside of an enclosure but as desired or necessary also intermingle a portion of such stale air with fresh air for delivery of the intermingled air back into the enclosure (during cold or warm weather). The present invention in particular relates to air handling systems (e.g. ventilation systems and apparati) which may exploit warm interior air as defrost air for defrosting the system during cool weather.
