Abstract:
An automatic-alarming push-down type emergency door-locking device, disposed at a door board, includes a main lock seat, a secondary lock seat, a push-down type handle assembly, a position-sensing module and an alarm module. The main and secondary lock seats are disposed at the door board, and the main lock seat has at least one locking element. In the push-down type handle assembly, a first handle and a second handle are connected pivotally with the secondary and main lock seats to be moved along a driving path from a locking position toward an unlocking position. At the locking or unlocking position, the locking element is buckled with or separated from the at least one locking groove. The position-sensing module transmits an alarm-triggering signal for the alarm module to generate an alarm, upon when the first handle leaves the locking position.
Abstract:
An unlocking transmission mechanism is driven by a power transmission shaft of an electric control system to unlock an emergency exit door lock. The unlocking transmission mechanism includes a fixed base assembly, a slidable base assembly, a linear driving assembly, a transmission member and a linkage member. The transmission member is pivotally connected to the slidable base assembly, and the linkage member is pivotally connected to the transmission member. When the linear driving assembly is driven by the power transmission shaft to drive the slidable base assembly to move along a linear sliding stroke in an unlock-driving direction, the transmission member and the linkage member are sequentially driven to drive a manual-operated press bar assembly to unlock the emergency exit door lock. In addition, a multi-selective kit for the unlocking transmission mechanism is also provided.
Abstract:
A membrane electrode assembly structure of a fuel cell and a method of making the same are disclosed. The materials to be used include NiO, 8YSZ and 3YSZ that mixed into a slurry, formed into anodes by tape casting, sintered to form an anode substrate, and followed by forming a thin film of electrolyte layer on the surface of the anode substrate, forming a cathode layer on the outer surface of the electrolyte layer to obtain the membrane electrode assembly, which utilizes the 3YSZ having a tetragonal crystal phase to improve the toughness and mechanical strength of the material of NiO-8YSZ through calcination, thus the thickness of the anode substrate can be reduced, and the fuel gas diffusion path and resistance can be appropriately reduced to enhance the conductivity of the anode substrate.

Methods and compositions for treating retinal diseases comprising therapeutic amounts of a compound selected from a normal Puf-A gene product, an active polypeptide fragment thereof, an analog thereof or a peptidomimetic thereof. Vectors, including AAV vectors comprising the therapeutic compound are provided. Puf-A compositions suitable for subretinal, intravitreal, topical, subconjunctival, retrobulbar, periocular, suprachoroidal, or intraocular administration are provided. Methods for screening siRNA, RNAi and shRNA, small molecules and monoclonal antibodies that inhibit Puf-A target activity and reduce apoptosis are provided.

A battery condition estimating apparatus for a battery pack having a plurality of battery cells connected in series includes an analog channel switching circuit and a battery gas gauge circuit. The analog channel switching circuit has a plurality of input ports and an output port, wherein the input ports are coupled to the battery cells via a plurality of analog channels, respectively, and the analog channel switching circuit is arranged to couple the output port to a selected input port of the input ports for allowing the output port N5 to be coupled to a selected battery via a selected analog channel. The battery gas gauge circuit is coupled to the output port of the analog channel switching circuit, and used for estimating a battery condition of the battery pack by monitoring the selected battery cell via the selected analog channel.
Abstract:
A handheld massage device includes an actuator mechanism and a massage unit received in an outer housing. The actuator includes a motor, a bearing and a tilting piece having a first shaft coupled with the motor and a second shaft fitted into the bearing. The crank-shaped first and second shafts do not lie on a straight line. The massage unit has a base plate and massage elements mounted on the base plate. The massage elements protrude from one end of the outer housing. The bearing is fitted in the base plate. Because the first and second shafts form an angle therebetween, the base plate is tilted and swings like a conical pendulum. Therefore, the massage elements on the base plate move back and forth along a direction of an axle of the motor, thereby providing kneading and percussion massages on the user's body.
Abstract:
A 3D image display system with high resolution is disclosed. The system may deflect left and right eye images to a left and right eye of a viewer, respectively. As such, the viewer can see 3D images. With a time-sharing mode, all of electronically switchable light modulating cells are configured to modulate all of the images deflected to the left eye of the viewer during a first period, and modulate all of the images to the right eye of the viewer during a second period, and the first period and the second period are alternate periods. Alternatively, a part of the electronically switchable light modulating cells are configured to modulate left eye images deflected to the left eye of the viewer, and another part of the electronically switchable light modulating cells are configured to modulate right eye images to the right eye of the viewer during the same period.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the invention provides a focus adjustable apparatus adapted to be disposed on a transparent substrate to modulate a plurality of rays passing through the transparent substrate. The focus adjustable apparatus includes a light modulation device, an eye tracking device, an eyesight status device and a controller. The light modulation device receives the rays from the transparent substrate and adjusts an emergent angle of each ray. The eye tracking device tracks a position of a user and estimates a distance between the user and the focus adjustable apparatus. The eyesight status device obtains an eyesight data of the user. The controller provides a control signal to drive the light modulation device by estimating the emergent angle of the each ray according to the distance between the user and the focus adjustable apparatus and the eyesight data of the user.
Abstract:
A touch panel module includes a frame unit and a touch panel unit. The frame unit includes a hollow frame body. The hollow frame body has a receiving space concaved downwardly from the top side thereof, a surrounding positioning portion formed on an inner bottom surface thereof, and an inner ladder structure formed on an inner surrounding peripheral surface thereof. The touch panel unit includes a transparent substrate received in the receiving space and disposed on the surrounding positioning portion by a plurality of adhesive elements and a transparent conductive film received in the receiving space and disposed on the transparent substrate. Therefore, the touch panel unit can naturally aim at the center position inside the hollow frame body due to the design of the inner ladder structure of the hollow frame body.
