A high-strength steel pipe having a tensile strength of 800 MPa or more that includes a weld metal having high cold-cracking resistance and high low-temperature toughness is provided. The high-strength steel pipe is a high-strength welded steel pipe in which the welded steel pipe is manufactured by double one layer submerged arc welding performed on an internal surface and an external surface of a base metal, both the base metal of the welded steel pipe and a weld metal have a tensile strength of 800 MPa or more, the weld metal contains C: 0.04% to 0.09% by mass, Si: 0.32% to 0.50% by mass, Mn: 1.4% to 2.0% by mass, Cu: less than 0.5% by mass, Ni: more than 0.9% by mass but not more than 4.2% by mass, Mo: 0.4% to 1.5% by mass, Cr: less than 0.5% by mass, V: less than 0.2% by mass, and the remainder of Fe and incidental impurities, and CS values calculated from the weld metal components using the equation CS=5.1+1.4[Mo]−[Ni]−0.6[Mn]−36.3[C] are equal to zero or more at both the internal surface and the external surface.
Abstract:
A method of automatically tracking and photographing a celestial object so that the celestial object image, which is formed on an imaging surface of an image sensor via a photographing optical system, becomes stationary relative to a predetermined imaging area of the imaging surface of the image sensor during a tracking and photographing operation. The method includes performing a preliminary photographing operation at a predetermined preliminary-photographing exposure time with the photographic apparatus directed toward the celestial object and with a celestial-body auto tracking action suspended to obtain a preliminary image before automatically tracking and photographing the celestial object, calculating a moving direction and a moving speed of the celestial object image from the preliminary image that is obtained by the preliminary photographing operation, and automatically tracking and photographing the celestial object based on the moving direction and the moving speed of the celestial object image.
Abstract:
The improved slide bearing assembly comprises at least a shaft and a bush that is formed of a porous iron-base sintered material and is characterized in that the bush is impregnated with a lubricant oil having a viscosity of 240-1500 cSt. The bearing assembly can be operated in slow- and high-pressure applications without oil refillings for a prolonged period of at least several years. The shaft is preferably formed of an iron or a steel member that have been subjected to a treatment of surface modification. The slide bearing assembly is preferably used in such an environment that the working pressure applied to the sliding surfaces is at least 6.0 kgf/mm.sup.2 and that the sliding speed is in the range 2-5 cm/sec.
Abstract:
A display device having a number of display panels arranged in a plane to constitute a large picture image screen includes a correction-value determining means positioned in front of and apart from the display panels to observe the optical condition of the display panels so as to determine a part to be corrected in the display panels and a value to be corrected for the part, a correction signal generating means for generating a correction signal on the basis of the corrected value which is provided from the correction value determining means, correction circuits for the display panels, and a recorrection signal generating means which receives the correction signal from the correction signal generating means and transmits a recorrection signal to the correction circuit for one or more number of the display panels to be corrected.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a large picture display device including a plurality of display units mounted to a support frame. The large picture display device comprises a push latch stopper mounted to the display unit, a push latch mounted to the support frame and adapted to mate with the push latch stopper, and a spring means provided on the support frame. With this arrangement, when the display unit is inserted into the support frame, the push latch stopper is engaged with the push latch to be locked, thereby permitting the display unit to be retained by the support frame. When the push latch is unlocked, the display unit is drawn because the spring means forwardly biases the display unit.
