摘要: An accelerator pedal apparatus includes a pedal arm rotating around a first rotation axis line, a return spring and a reaction force adding mechanism including a drive source and a rotation member rotating around a second rotation axis line and having a contact portion contacted to the pedal arm which adds reaction force in the direction to return the pedal arm to the rest position. A first distance from the contact position of the pedal arm with the contact portion to the first rotation axis line is longer than a second distance to the second rotation axis line. The pedal arm includes a contact section having the contact portion displaced while being contacted so that the contact portion is to be farther from the first rotation axis line when rotating toward the maximum depression position and to be closer to the first rotation axis line when rotating toward the rest position.

摘要: An accelerator pedal device having a pedal arm working in conjunction with an accelerating pedal, a housing to rotatably support the pedal arm around a prescribed pivot axis line between a rest position and a maximum applied position, a hysteresis generation mechanism that comes in contact with the vicinity of an upper end of the pedal arm to generate hysteresis in a pedal force of the accelerator pedal, and an active control mechanism to push back the pedal arm toward the rest position under prescribed conditions between the pivot axis line and the hysteresis generation mechanism. The active control mechanism includes a drive source provided in the housing, and a return lever that is rotated in the same direction as the direction of the swinging of the pedal arm in conjunction with the drive source and is detachably engaged with the vicinity of the upper end of the pedal arm.

摘要: An accelerator pedal device includes a slide guide path which is formed in a housing, a first slider which is engaged with the pedal arm for receiving pedaling force as being slidably arranged in the slide guide path and which includes a first inclined face inclined against a movement direction of the first slider, a second slider which is slidably arranged in the slide guide path and which includes a second inclined face contacted to the first inclined face, and an urging spring which exerts urging force in a direction opposing to the pedaling force as being engaged with the second slider, wherein the slide guide path is formed as being tapered in a direction of movement of the first slider and the second slider which are moved in association with depression of the accelerator pedal. Accordingly, desired hysteresis can be obtained on the pedaling force while achieving downsizing.

摘要: An accelerator pedal apparatus includes a pedal arm rotating around a first rotation axis line and having a contact portion, a return spring and a reaction force adding mechanism including a drive source and a rotation member rotating around a second rotation axis line in a state of being contacted to the contact portion which adds reaction force to return the pedal arm toward the rest position. A first distance from the contact position of the rotation member with the contact portion to the first rotation axis line is longer than a second distance to the second rotation axis line. The rotation member includes a contact section having the contact portion displaced while being contacted so that the contact portion is to be closer to the second rotation axis line when rotating toward the maximum depression position and to be farther from the second rotation axis line when rotating toward the rest position.

摘要: A pedal rod (12) connected to an accelerator pedal (10) has one end which is a free end. A friction generating device (20) is disposed at the free end of the pedal rod (12). The friction generating device (20) has a cylindrical housing (26) as a fixed friction member, a movable friction member (28) disposed movably in the interior of the housing (26) and kept in contact with the housing, and a friction member return spring (30) for urging the movable friction member (28) in a predetermined direction. When the accelerator pedal (10) is depressed, the free end of the pedal rod (12) pushes both movable friction member (28) and friction member return spring (30), so that there occur friction between the movable friction member (28) and the housing (fixed friction member) and friction induced by the friction member return spling (30). Upon release of the accelerator pedal (10), the movable friction member (28) is returned to its original position by the friction member return spring (30).
