Abstract: A system to operate as a phase locked loop (PLL) includes a frequency synthesizer in a feedback path of the PLL and a delay line arranged to receive an output of the frequency synthesizer. A retimer subsystem is arranged to receive the output of the frequency synthesizer. A digitally controlled delay line (DCDL) is arranged to receive an output of the retimer. A phase detector is arranged to receive an output of the delay line and an output of the DCDL and to provide an error signal indicating a difference in phase of the output of the delay line relative to the output of the DCDL. A controller causes closed loop operation of the PLL during a normal operational mode and open loop operation during a calibration mode during which gain of the DCDL, defining a relationship between a control code and a resulting delay, is calibrated.

Abstract: Described herein are phased array and transceiver systems with distortion measurement circuitry configured to obtain distortion measurements of system transmitters and provide the distortion measurements to receive beamforming components of the system. Such systems advantageously make use of existing beamforming components of the system to additionally route distortion measurements for baseband DPD processing. Such systems may not need external components to measure signals radiated by antennas of the system or dedicated paths linking system transmitters directly to a baseband processor. In some embodiments, receive beamforming components may be configured to sum distortion measurements from each transmitter to create an aggregate distortion measurement usable as representative of the average transmitter for DPD processing.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a base station. The base station receives baseband signals from X devices at NR reception antennas. These baseband signals carry R layers of data signals transmitted from a UE using NT transmission antennas in L first transmission time intervals, where L, NR and R are positive integers. The base station estimates an equivalent channel response that is formed by precoders used by the UE and a channel between the NR reception antennas at the base station and L·NT effective antennas at the UE; NT is a positive integer. The base station performs signal processing based on the received baseband signals and the channel response in order to decode the R layers of data signals from the UE.

Abstract: A method of handling UE Route Selection Policy (URSP) rules received from a non-subscribed Stand-alone Non-public Network (SNPN) registered using credentials from a credentials holder (CH) is provided. UE may be pre-configured with URSP rules by UE home network or UE may first registers to a home network and obtain signaled URSP rules from the home network. Later on, UE may register to a non-subscribed SNPN using credentials from a CH. Before establishing a PDU session, UE checks the corresponding URSP rules that can be used in the SNPN. If UE is signaled with URSP rules by the registered non-subscribed SNPN, then UE can use URSP rules in the following priority order: 1) URSP rules signaled from the non-subscribed SNPN, 2) URSP rules signaled from the home network, and 3) URSP rules pre-configured by the home network.

Abstract: An enhanced session establishment procedure is proposed for MTU parameter handling under intersystem change between 5GS and EPS. A PDU session of “Ethernet” or “Unstructured” PDU session type can be transferred to a PDN connection of “non-IP” PDN type, thus the UE can request the non-IP link MTU parameter in the PDU session establishment procedure. A PDN connection of “non-IP” PDN type can be transferred to a PDU session of “Unstructured” PDU session type, thus the UE can request the Unstructured link MTU parameter in the default EPS bearer context activation procedure.

Abstract: A power saving method for monitoring data channel is proposed. The network node may indicate that the UE can enter a power saving mode by transmitting a DCI to the UE. The DCI may indicate a power saving duration and an additional monitoring duration. The power saving duration may indicate the length of the power saving mode and the starting point and the end point of the power saving mode. The additional monitoring duration may indicate that the UE needs to perform monitoring for a period of time before the power saving mode based on the first power saving duration indicated in the DCI.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided to reduce access latency in a random-access channel (RACH) procedure. A user equipment (UE) can transmit multiple Msg1 on multiple RACH transmission occasions before the end of a random-access response (RAR) window. The UE receives one or more RARs in response to the multiple transmitted Msg1. The one or more RARs can be carried in a single RAR window or multiple RAR windows. The UE determines the detected Msg1 based on explicit signals, implicit indications, or both. The explicit signals can be carried in the one or more RARs received by the UE. The implicit indications can be one or more signatures being associated with the multiple RACH transmission occasions. The one or more signatures comprise at least one of physical random-access channel (PRACH) preambles or preamble indices, random-access radio-network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) values, RAR windows, and control regions for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH).
