Abstract:
An additive for overcharge prevention of a lithium ion battery is provided. A nonaqueous electrolyte for a lithium ion battery including a lithium salt and an organic solvent is also provided, which includes both a terphenylene derivative and a xylene derivative. The additive undergoes oxidative polymerization during overcharge and increases resistance of an electrode surface, thereby shutting down overcharge current. When the additive of the present invention is used in the electrolyte of a lithium ion battery, the safety of battery can be improved during overcharge.
Abstract:
A multimedia messaging method and apparatus for a mobile terminal supporting Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is provided for the mobile terminal to relay a multimedia message, edit multimedia object attached to the multimedia message, and feed back the multimedia message attaching the edit multimedia object. A multimedia message transmission method of the present invention includes composing a multimedia message in a multimedia message composition mode, inserting sender information and a recipient information into the multimedia message; creating a relay message by defining a type of the multimedia message as the relay message; and sending the relay message with reference to the recipient information.
Abstract:

A thin film transistor array panel according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of gate lines; a plurality of pixels respectively connected to the gate lines; a gate driver comprising a plurality of stages connected to each other, the plurality of stages being respectively connected to the plurality of gate lines and applying gate signals to the plurality of gate lines; and a driver inspection unit separated from the gate driver and including at least three inspection stages, wherein each of the at least three inspection stages has a same structure as one of the plurality of stages of the gate driver.
Abstract:
A fabrication method for a diary or electronic device cover, the fabrication method includes the steps of: disposing an elastic first synthetic resin on a joint panel; disposing a second synthetic resin on the first synthetic resin; disposing a third synthetic resin different from the fist synthetic resin and the second synthetic resin in material; joining the first synthetic resin, the second synthetic resin, and the third synthetic resin at a plurality of points; and injecting air into a space between the first synthetic resin and the second synthetic resin to allow the cover to have a bulged surface.
Abstract:
A method for displaying a message in a mobile communication terminal in which includes: when a message is received (or transmitted), a keyword is extracted from received (or transmitted) message contents; a determination is made whether a counterpart's (or one's own) sender information of the received (or transmitted) message exists, wherein when the counterpart's (or one's own) sender information exists, a determination is made whether a representative photo image exists in the counterpart's (or one's own) sender information, and when the representative photo image exists, a face detection feature is extracted from the representative photo image, and a keyword is extracted from the received message contents, and wherein a photo image that meets at least one of the extracted face detection feature and the keyword is searched for from an internal device or an external device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display including: a first substrate and an opposing second substrate; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a light blocking member disposed on the first substrate or the second substrate; a first field generating electrode disposed on the first substrate; a second field generating electrode disposed on the first substrate and including branch electrodes overlapping the first field generating electrode; and a gate line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction. A branch electrode of the branch electrodes includes a central portion and a first edge portion disposed at one end of the central portion. A first angle formed between the first edge portion and a second direction is greater than a second angle formed between the second direction and the central portion, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction.
Abstract:
An array substrate includes a substrate, a dummy pad and a driving signal output line. The substrate includes a display area displaying an image, and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The dummy pad extends along a first direction in the peripheral area of the substrate, and includes a first protrusion portion protruding from an end portion of the dummy pad along the first direction. The driving signal output line extends along a second direction crossing with the first direction, is disposed adjacent to the dummy pad, and provides an external signal. Accordingly static electricity provided to the driving signal output line flows into the dummy pad having the first protrusion portion, so that static electricity may be prevented from flowing into the display area.
Abstract:
