Abstract: A method for displaying a message in a mobile communication terminal in which includes: when a message is received (or transmitted), a keyword is extracted from received (or transmitted) message contents; a determination is made whether a counterpart's (or one's own) sender information of the received (or transmitted) message exists, wherein when the counterpart's (or one's own) sender information exists, a determination is made whether a representative photo image exists in the counterpart's (or one's own) sender information, and when the representative photo image exists, a face detection feature is extracted from the representative photo image, and a keyword is extracted from the received message contents, and wherein a photo image that meets at least one of the extracted face detection feature and the keyword is searched for from an internal device or an external device.
