摘要： A device images radiation from a scene in two wavelength bands. An uncooled detector of the radiation includes two separate detector regions. A first filter associated with the first detector region allows radiation in a first wavelength band to be imaged on the first detector region. A second filter associated with the second detector region allows radiation in a second wavelength band to be imaged on the second detector region. An image forming optical component forms an image of the scene on the detector. Two wedge-shaped components are positioned at a fixed distance from the image forming optical component. Each wedge-shaped component directs radiation from the scene through the image forming optical component onto the detector. The radiation is imaged separately onto the two detector regions through an f-number of less than approximately 1.5. Imaged radiation on each detector region includes radiation in one respective wavelength band.

摘要： An apparatus for depositing annular or circular wedge coatings with arbitrary dependence of thickness versus position includes a coating tool in which at least one substrate is disposed in a line of sight arrangement vs. least one deposition source, each substrate having an axis of symmetry and associated with a single mask having an aperture and positioned between the substrate and the least one deposition source, the mask and the substrate arranged to perform a relative rotation around a common axis to follow a law of motion which results in the deposition of a coating with a desired law of variation of thickness vs. position on the circumference of the substrate. The relative rotation is imparted by a motor. In embodiments in which there are a plurality of substrates and associated single masks, the substrates are positioned on a planet carrier independently rotatable by another motor.

摘要： A device, for imaging a scene, includes a detector of the radiation that includes a plurality of detector elements, a circularly variable filter, a mechanism for rotating the filter perpendicular to the optical path of the radiation from the scene to the detector, and a data capture apparatus. All the detector elements are repeatedly interrogated by as a group as the filter rotates, to acquire images of the scene, each of which includes a plurality of image portions in respective spectral bands of the filter. The image portions are assembled to form processed images, each of which depicts the scene in a single respective spectral band.

摘要： A fluorescent in situ hybridization method comprising the steps of (a) providing a cell nuclei having chromosomes hybridized with at least one nucleic acid probe including at least one nucleic acid molecule labeled with at least one fluorophore; (b) viewing the cell nuclei through a fluorescence microscope optically connected to an imaging spectrometer for obtaining a spectrum of each pixel of the cell nuclei by (i) collecting incident collimated light simultaneously from all pixels of the cell nuclei; (ii) passing the incident collimated light through an interferometer system so that the light is first split into two coherent beams and then recombine to interfere and form an exiting light beam; (iii) focusing the exiting light beam on a detector having an array of detector elements, so that at each instant each of the elements is the image of one and always the same pixel for the entire duration of the measurement and so that each of the elements produces a signal which is a particular linear combination of light intensity emitted by the pixel at different wavelengths; (iv) rotating or translating one or more of the elements of the interferometer, so that the optical path difference is scanned simultaneously for all the pixels of the cell nuclei; and (v) recording signals of each of the detector elements as function of time using a recording device to form a first spectral cube of data; and (c) interpreting the first spectral cube of data using a mathematical algorithm.

In another embodiment, the filter is on a surface of an optical element of the optical system and has a defocusing relationship to the detector.
