摘要： There is provided a composition comprising: (i) a hyperbranched polymer having peripheral reactive groups comprising epoxy functional groups and hydroxyl functional groups; and (ii) a compound having one or more hydrophilic functional groups, wherein the amount of epoxy functional groups relative to the total number of peripheral reactive groups does not render the hyperbranched polymer from being indispersible in an aqueous solvent. There is also provided a method of preparing the same and uses thereof.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a method of preparing a dual curable polymer, the method comprising the steps of: (a) reacting a peripheral reactive group of a dendritic polymer with a cross-linker compound having two or more moisture curable functional groups to form a functionalized dendritic polymer terminated with the moisture curable functional groups; and (b) reacting said functionalized dendritic polymer with an acrylic compound to form a substituted dendritic polymer having a mixture of acrylate functional groups and at least one peripheral moisture curable functional group.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a composition comprising: at least one dendritic polymer prepared from hyper-branched polymer with hydroxyl groups, having a plurality of peripheral functional groups, wherein the peripheral functional groups comprising at least one cyclic ether group that is covalently bound to said hyperbranched polymer by urethane linkages; and a melamine-based crosslinker. Such compositions have improved flexibility. The present disclosure further relates to the use of such compositions to form coatings after cure, or as an additive component to binder resins.

The aqueous dispersible dendritic polymer composition comprises a hydrophilic functional group to allow dispersion in aqueous solvents and improve washability of the polymer, a low surface tension functional group to impart resistance to dirt pick-up and optionally, a curable functional group to allow superior cross-linking capabilities and optionally, a softening functional group to impart flexibility to the composition.

摘要： The present invention relates to a polymer having formula (I): wherein the line “- - - ” represents a covalent bond, or a linkage group selected from: —NRC(O)O—, —C(O)OC(O)—NR—, —C(O)NR—, —NHC(O)NH—, wherein R is H, optionally substituted C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 heteroalkyl, carbocycle, aryl, or heteroaryl; P is a polymer comprising y number of peripheral functional groups; L is a linker moiety selected from optionally substituted, aliphatic, branched or cyclic alkyl, aryl, phenyl, or alkylene diphenyl; A is a hydrophobic functional group; B is a hydrophilic functional group, and carboxylate; and X is a cross-linkable functional group; each of m, n and q are greater than zero, and wherein m+n+q≦y, and use of the polymer for preparing coating compositions.
