Abstract:
A single-click matchmaking system and method is disclosed providing streamlined, fast, interactive and intelligent search processes for matchmaking. The single-click matchmaking for recommending at least one match comprises receiving a profile of the user based on an input given by the user at an application running on the computing device, predicting a plurality of self-attributes of the user based on the profile of the user, predicting a plurality of preferred attributes based on the plurality of self-attributes of the user, accessing a memory configured to store data corresponding to a plurality of entities, determining the match from the plurality of entities and recommending the at least one match to display at the computing device of the user.
Abstract:
An extract from green coffee beans is disclosed which contains polyphenols and bioactive compounds e.g. Chlorogenic acids in a significantly higher concentration (70-80%) than in extracts of prior art methods (40-50%). The extract has greater ability to quench oxidative stress and destroy free radicals and offers health benefits due to its anti-obesity, anti-diabetic, antihypertensive, anti-tumor and anti-acid properties. The higher concentration of bioactive compounds has been achieved by use of polar solvents having polarity less than that of alcohols used for extraction. The use of such solvents of lower polarity such as n-Butyl alcohol, ethyl acetate or acetone results in extraction of enriched Chlorogenic acid fractions into the extract, leaving polar impurities behind in aqueous medium. The extract obtained has significantly higher content of polyphenols and chlorogenic acids ranging from 70-80% and a distinctive HPLC profile.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a method for compressed sensing (CS). The CS is a signal processing concept wherein significantly fewer sensor measurements than that suggested by Shannon/Nyquist sampling theorem can be used to recover signals with arbitrarily fine resolution. In this disclosure, the CS framework is applied for sensor signal processing in order to support low power robust sensors and reliable communication in Body Area Networks (BANs) for healthcare and fitness applications.
Abstract:
Discloses is a single herb extract for the treatment of PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) when given in oral dosage form as capsules of 500 mg, twice a day for period of time ranging from 30-90 days, The extract is obtained from fenugreek seeds using a specific method of extraction and comprises five furostanolicsaponins present in synergistic ratios as in Table 1 and having analytical profile as in FIG. 1.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the anti dengue activity of the cissampelos pareira extracts. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising extracts of cissampelos pareira and processes for the preparation of extracts of cissampelos pareira are also provided.
Abstract:
System and method for providing end to end interactive mobile applications are described. The present invention provides a complete solution for implementing and distributing interactive mobile applications via short message service. The instant invention is a new process for developing, managing, transmitting and rendering mobile interactive applications through short messaging service. The mobile interactive application is developed using web based interactive development environment. Once the application is developed, the application is delivered to large number of mobile stations through SMS channel by an application provider. The received application on the mobile station is rendered and executed, and the user is able to interact with the application. Further, the user can also send the response to the application provider resulting in a two way communication.
Abstract:
A user may receive an alert notification message on a mobile device for any high risk transaction along with a set of recent transactions conducted on an account associated with the user. The user may be able to respond back by either accepting or rejecting the transaction using an application on the mobile device. In one embodiment, for a rejected transaction, a plurality of options may be presented to the user's mobile device for the user to select a reason for rejecting a transaction. An issuer associated with the payment account used for the transaction may receive the user's response and accordingly take appropriate actions on the account.
Abstract:
In its many embodiments, the present invention provides a novel class of heterocyclic compounds of the formula: as modulators of gamma secretase, methods of preparing such compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing one or more such compounds, methods of preparing pharmaceutical formulations comprising one or more such compounds, and methods of treatment, prevention, inhibition, or amelioration of one or more disease associated with the central nervous system using such compounds or pharmaceutical compostions.
Abstract:
A mobile insurance architecture includes a wireless communication interface that connects mobile client devices to wireless networks. An insurance server cluster that includes a group of independent network servers operates and appears to mobile client devices as if the group of independent network servers were a single computer server. An adaptive transmission controller communicates with the insurance server cluster and processes content in multiple mobile formats that may be optimized to the screen sizes of the mobile client devices. The insurance server cluster responds to native application clients resident to the mobile client devices. The native application clients contain code stored on a non-transitory media that render insurance quoting services, insurance claims services, on-line insurance policy services, usage based insurance services, mobile monitoring services, or insurance agency management services.
