    摘要: A transmitter power control circuit which provides normal power control functions, and provides a high speed loop response when abrupt changes in output power are required. The circuit utilizes an electronic switch to provide adaptive filtering to permit narrow bandwidth filtering during normal steady state operation of the transmitter and wide bandwidth filtering during desired abrupt changes in transmitter power output. This allows rapid changes in transmitter output power when desired, while substantially eliminating undesired noise during normal operation.

    摘要: An improved omega connector for electrically coupling components of a multicomponent electronic assembly comprises first and second flat end sections each formed of nonporous copper plate adapted for solder bonding to components, and an intermediate loop section formed of interwoven copper fibers extending between the end sections to provide a continous electrically conductive network therebetween. The fibers in the loop section carry a solder nonwettable coating to avoid interference with bonding operations to attach the end section to the components. Preferably, the loop section is composed of nickel-clad copper fibers. The fibrous loop section exhibits enhanced flexibility to reduce stresses attributed to shifting of the components during operation and thereby extend the useful life of the assembly.

    摘要: A distributed resonator stripline circulator is disclosed wherein a geometrically shaped resonator pattern is deposited upon a like geometrically shaped ferrite substrate. A ground plane is deposited upon the opposing side of the substrate which includes grounding wrap-arounds that extend partially onto the resonator face of the substrate. Two such resonators are assembled, resonator patterns facing, to form a stripline circulator. The grounding wrap-arounds provide electrical connection from the top ground plane to the bottom ground plane to provide superior isolation and control of circulator loading factors.

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention there is provided an amplifier and integral signal shunt attenuator. The amplifier consists of an active amplifying device that is normally biased for signal amplification. The active amplifying device has a characteristic signal transfer impedance between its input and output and a characteristic signal shunt impedance across its input. The amplifier is configured such that the power dissipated by the active amplifying device may be limited. During transmission standby, the active amplifying device may be rebiased to lower the shunt impedance with respect to the transfer impedance. Thus, the undesirable signal is no longer fed-through the transfer impedance but is substantially shunted across the relatively low shunt impedance.

    摘要: In a radio receiver or transmitter circuit, a high sensitivity dual function meter circuit for metering the DC and AC operation of a circuit stage is constructed by connecting a detector diode to a point in the source or emitter circuit of the metered stage rather than to ground. High sensitivity is obtained by passing both the DC and AC current through the detector diode so that a smaller AC voltage swing can be detected.
