A display may includes decision logic to determine if a first pixel of the display will undergo a state transition, and if so, charge sharing switch logic switches the first pixel to a common bus for charge sharing with other pixels connected to the common bus. The pixels that are connected to the common bus share the voltage of the common bus. The pixels are then disconnected from the common bus and connected to the pixel driver.
