摘要： Silicalite with increased hydrophobicity may be made by steaming silicalite in an atmosphere of at least 10% water vapor at temperatures of 650-850.degree. C. When used as monodisperse spheres with a diameter in the range of 1-20 microns such ultrahydrophobic silicalite is an excellent adsorbent for chromatographic separation of polar materials, including fatty acids, at both the analytical level and preparative level using simulated moving bed techniques.

摘要： An audio signal is generated that sweeps from a lower frequency to a higher frequency in a substantially linear function. The circuit used to produce this sweeping audio frequency has a stable power supply, a square wave oscillator, a ramp generator, a voltage controlled oscillator, a drive circuit and an audio circuit. The square wave generator is composed of logic gates that generate a square wave with near instantaneous rising and falling edges. The ramp generator creates a sweep drive signal that is a substantially linear triangular waveform.

摘要： The present invention may be used to process various foods by pressing them through a receiving receptacle equipped with a processing disk. A body may have a plurality of platforms, frames and support configurations conducive for efficient function. A motor may be in the uppermost section of the body. A switch of choice may activate the motor and set in motion the press process. A ball bearing assembly and press assembly may complete the food press processing function. A receiving receptacle may receive produce for processing by the press plate and push produce through a processing disk, cup or sieve. A set of micro switches may serve to control the electric and mechanical function specific to the task. A press plate with configurations compatible to the disk selected may complete the process when the processed produce is dispensed into a dish or appropriate container.

Included is an inverter in electrical communication with the regulator and receives the controlled voltage direct current inverter power feed, the inverter outputs an alternating current motor power feed to a permanent magnet brushless direct current motor that outputs a shaft rotational speed and a back electromotive force. Also, a control is provided for regulating the controlled voltage direct current inverter power feed based upon criteria utilizing the back electromotive force or an auxiliary motor stator wire loop signal in conjunction with an optional voltage look-up table to substantially make the controlled voltage result in a reduction of a pulse width modulation switching frequency to further smooth and reduce harmonic of the alternating current waveform to increase motor efficiency.

摘要： A phase-modulated, double-ended, half-bridge topology-based DC-AC converter supplies AC power to a load, such as a cold cathode fluorescent lamp used to back-light a liquid crystal display. First and second converter stages generate respective first and second sinusoidal voltages having the same frequency and amplitude, but having a controlled phase difference therebetween. By employing a voltage controlled delay circuit to control the phase difference between the first and second sinusoidal voltages, the converter is able to vary the amplitude of the composite voltage differential produced across the opposite ends of the load.

摘要： A method and device implementing a downloadable operatively connected to a plurality of gaming machines either by a direct communications link or through the use of one or more site controllers or PCs. Each gaming machine and site controller or PC contains two executable spaces, one of which typically contains the software image currently being implemented by the device. The other executable space is designated to receive from the central system a new software image that will be utilized by the device. The central system transfers a new image to be executed, via packet encrypted communications, to a networked device which stores the image in an executable space, while continuing to run the currently designated image. Upon instruction from the central system, the device switches over to the new image, allowing one or more machines to implement a software upgrade on a continuous basis.
