摘要: An apparatus for dispensing a disposable glove and applying it to the hand of a user in which a stream of air drawn into an enclosed glove applying chamber through a constricted opening aligned with the heel of the glove inflates the topmost glove in a stack of gloves in the chamber so that a user can readily insert his hand into the glove. After the user has donned the glove on the hand, a wall of the chamber is opened to permit the user to readily withdraw his hand from the glove applying chamber while the air flow which originally inflated the top-most glove is disrupted. Upon closures of the chamber wall, the re-established air flow automatically inflates the next lower glove in the glove stack to prepare the next glove for receipt of another hand. The apparatus alternatively or in addition includes a glove removal chamber arranged to remove a glove from a gloved hand using a stream of air drawn into the glove removal chamber.

摘要: A technique for designing and testing drive-test plan for gathering location-dependent RF data is disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments of the present invention, one candidate drive-test plan is chosen for implementation over a second based on an economic cost-benefit analysis of both plans. This is in marked contrast to, for example, a selection of drive-test plans, or the design of a drive-test plan, based on a calibration-cost analysis, in which the data estimated to be the most effective to calibrate a radio-frequency tool is sought for a given cost or the least cost. Although a data-estimated-to-be-most-effective-to-calibrate-a-radio-frequency-tool vs. cost analysis is a species of cost-benefit analyses in general, it is not an economic cost-benefit analysis because a data-estimated-to-be-most-effective-to-calibrate-a-radio-frequency-tool vs. cost analysis has deficiencies that an economic cost-benefit analysis does not.

摘要: A multivariate control method and system to control torque output from a powertrain system to a driveline is provided, to reduce driveline oscillations. The powertrain preferably comprises hybrid powertrain having a plurality of torque-generative devices connected to a transmission. Desired powertrain and driveline operating states are determined, as are a plurality of operating state errors. Each torque-generative device is controlled, based upon the operating state errors, and operating mode of the transmission. A damping torque command, additive to a commanded torque, is determined for one or more of the torque-generative devices based upon the determined transmission operating mode. Determined operating states include operator input, and powertrain/driveline including driveline torque; transmission input torque, rotational speed of the torque-generative devices; road load; and, accessory load.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products for a method for associating a persistent information element with a resource-executable pair are disclosed. According to one method, a computer system resource is associated with an executable to form a resource-executable pair. A persistent information element is associated with this pair. The persistent information element is stored independently from the resource and executable such that the persistent information element survives termination of a first instantiation of the executable. The method provides for performing an operation on or using the persistent information element with a second instantiation of the executable.

摘要: A communication protocol for distributing information related to a resource in substantially real-time to a subscriber includes a first HTTP request message for allowing the subscriber to request a subscription to the information related to the resource, where the first HTTP request message includes subscription data in a header and/or in a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) reference associated with the first HTTP request message, and the subscription data identifies the first HTTP request message as a subscription request. The communication protocol also includes a second HTTP request message for allowing a publisher to update the information related to the resource, and an HTTP response message for allowing a publish/subscribe service to notify the subscriber of the updated information related to the resource each time the publish/subscribe service receives the second HTTP request message from the publisher.

摘要: A method and system are described for providing customized subscription data. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method is described for receiving a subscription request for a tuple via a publish/subscribe protocol from a subscriber, and sending a first message related to the subscription request to a publisher capable of providing customized information associated with the tuple, where the customized information is based on a characteristic of the first message. The method further indudes receiving from the publisher a second message including the customized information and in response to receiving the second message, constructing a notification including the customized information and using the publish/subscribe protocol to send the notification including the customized information to the subscriber.
