The utilities access corridor has at least one access wall with a passage configured to provide access to and from the utilities access corridor from the interior of the prefabricated integrated utilities building core. There are a plurality of integrated utilities arranged within the prefabricated integrated utilities building core so as to be fully accessible from within the utilities access corridor. The utilities access corridor also includes an in-floor access hatch arranged to provide access to an in-floor portion of at least the plumbing of the plurality of integrated utilities.

    摘要: There is provided a caulk free window trim for use with a replacement window in a wall having a window jam. The window jam has a jam liner. The window trim includes a vertical rigid first member for disposing against a portion of the replacement window. An angled flexible second member extends away from a predetermined intermediate position on the vertical rigid first member and above an uppermost portion of the vertical rigid first member in contact with a portion of the jam liner to prevent air from infiltrating into the wall between the jam liner and the replacement window. No caulking or painting is required because the angled flexible second member together with the vertical rigid first member seals any minor gaps and produces an attractive finished product.

    摘要: A resilient rubber finger and a locking mechanism therefore for use in poultry processing plants for the plucking of feathers off poultry is provided. The rubber-plucking finger is comprised of an oversized base without an annular recess, and a tapered furrowed shank. A plurality of fingers is inserted into a support base through apertures therein. The diameter of the shank proximate the base is substantially equal to the diameter of the support base aperture to ease insertion and removal. A backing plate is provided to abut the rear of the support plate preventing accidental displacement of the rubber finger from the support plate. The support plate is attached to the backing plate using an integrated centrifugal locking mechanism within the backing plate.

    摘要: A control platform for directing the operation of a snowblower is provided. The platform includes a bail which is pivotably moveable within the platform. Attached to and moveable with the bail are levers for controlling the engagement or disengagement of the drives that power the snowblower's wheels and auger. Also attached with the bail are controls which permit the operator to change the speed and/or direction of the snowblower as well as the orientation of the discharge chute. Through their attachment to the bail and proximity relative to one another, an operator can use each of the levers and controls simultaneously. Accordingly, the platform permits an operator to engage or disengage the drives which power the snowblower's wheels and auger while, simultaneously, enabling a change in speed or direction as well as the direction towards which snow is directed during the removal process.

    摘要: A Replacement Window Installation and Flashing System consisting mainly of an Interior Jam Liner and an Exterior Cap. The Interior Jam Liner is of an elongated extruded shape; it is designed for installation around the perimeter of a window opening that has been prepared by collapsing and removing the original window frame. After being cut to the desired length the Interior Jam Liner is installed on all 4 sides of the window opening so that a vertical member on the Interior Jam Liner is positioned in the area that was previously occupied by the original windows nailing fin. An opposed vertical member at the back of the Interior Jam Liner forms a stop with which to set a new replacement window against. After the new replacement window is positioned against this stop and fastened into place, the Exterior Cap, also an elongated extruded shape, is cut to length, assembled as a rectangle, and mated with the Interior Jam Liner by a male-female self-securing connection. The original “new construction” type of seal is retained and rainwater is channeled away by the Interior Jam Liner.

    摘要: A heater for gas fuel mounted to a pressure reducing regulator to warm the gas after the temperature is reduced by the pressure reduction. The heater receives the fuel from the regulator through an external pipe and has separate gas and coolant passages therein. The coolant passage receives liquid engine coolant that heats both the gas and the regulator. A heater core has a plurality of radially extending fins around which the gas passes with the coolant passing through the interior of the core. Coolant flow is regulated by a thermostat that is responsive to the temperature of the gas to open and close the coolant passage.

    摘要: A transceiver which generates transmit and receive channel frequencies using a single crystal reference oscillator is disclosed. A first and second local oscillator is connected to the crystal reference oscillator. A first down converter is connected to the first local oscillator which mixes a receive signal with a first local oscillator frequency to produce a first intermediate frequency signal. The first intermediate frequency signal is then amplified and filtered and applied to a second down convertor which mixes the filtered first intermediate frequency signal with a second local oscillator frequency to produce a second intermediate frequency. A transmit frequency offset is then generated using the second local oscillator frequency. A transmit frequency generator generates a transmit frequency using the transmit frequency offset and the first local oscillator frequency.
