摘要: An optical information record carrier consists of upper and lower optical disks maintained separate from each other by an annular spacer juxtaposed to the outer periphery of the surfaces of the optical disks facing one another. The spacer is glued to the optical disks to produce a carrier with spaced optical disks and an air gap between the disks interior of the annular spacer. To assure sufficient adhesive will remain between the spacer surfaces and their facing optical disk surfaces as these components are squeezed together during the assembly process, one of the spacer of the optical disks is provided with a projection or recess.

摘要: Filter coefficients corresponding to a plurality of discrete cutoff frequencies are stored in advance in a memory and a filter coefficient corresponding to a specified cutoff frequency is generated by performing an interpolation referring to the filter coefficients stored in the memory, thereby saving the capacity of the memory. When a resonance index is to be specified in addition to the cutoff frequency, filter coefficients corresponding to two difference resonance indexes are acquired by the interpolation, then a new filter coefficient is acquired by executing the interpolation referring to these two filter coefficients.

摘要: Using stored discrete samples of filter coefficients at each of a plurality of discrete operating points, a filter control (e.g., CPU) provides dynamic control of a digital filter through an interpolator in accordance with a variable input indicative of a desired operating point (e.g., cutoff frequency) of the digital filter. In response to a large change in the desired operating point, the control produces a succession of operating point subgoals progressively approaching the changed desired operating point and a corresponding succession of filter coefficient subgoals. Each filter coefficient subgoal is calculated as a function of stored discrete filter coefficient samples near each operating point subgoal. In response to a new parameter set from the filter control, containing a new subgoal of the coefficients, the interpolator starts coefficient interpolating to smoothly move the operating point of the digital filter toward the new subgoal. By starting the interpolating operations after the updating of the parameter set has been completed, synchronization may be established among the interpolating operations on the coefficients.

摘要: An optical information recording disk is formed by a pair of disk-like substrates with an inner and an outer annular spacer member disposed therebetween. The inner spacer member supports an inner circumferential portion of each of the disk-like substrates, and the outer spacer member supports an outer circumferential portion of each of the disk-like substrates. The spacer members and substrates thus define an interior space. The spacer members and substrates are fixed together by means of a thermosetting adhesive agent. A notched portion is formed in at least one of the space members so as to communicate the interior of the disk with the ambient atmosphere. Thus, during heating of the disk for purposes of joining the substrates and spacers by hardening the adhesive agent, air in the interior space in the disk can escape through the notched portion. After heating, the notched portion is filled with a sealing member such as a solid member or another adhesive agent.
