    摘要: A three-phase load is powered by an SPWM driven inverter having a single shunt-topology. During operation, drain-to-source resistances of transistors of each branch of the inverter are determined. Interpolation is performed on assumed drain-to-source resistances of the transistors for different temperatures to produce a non-linear model of drain-to-source resistance to temperature for the transistors, and the drain-to-source resistances determined during operation and the non-linear model are used to estimate temperature values of the transistors. Driving of the inverter can be adjusted so that conductivity of each branch is set so that power delivered by that branch is as high as possible without exceeding an allowed drain current threshold representing a threshold junction temperature. In addition, driving of the inverter can be ceased if the temperature of a transistor exceeds the threshold temperature.

    摘要: A linear regulator circuit includes a power transistor coupled between an input voltage node and an output voltage node. A control circuit of the linear regulator includes a feedback network having an input coupled to the output voltage node and an output configured to generate a feedback voltage. An error amplifier receives a reference voltage and the feedback voltage to generate an error signal. A driver circuit receives the error signal and has an output coupled to drive a control terminal of the power transistor. A first power supply terminal of the driver circuit is coupled to a first power supply node and a second power supply terminal of the driver circuit is coupled to the output voltage node. The bias current for operation of the driver circuit is accordingly directly sourced to the output voltage node to support low quiescent current operation of the regulator circuit.

    摘要: Apparatus and methods to compensate hard iron and soft iron magnetic interference in magnetic sensing devices are described. Hard and soft iron interference may be modeled using an ellipsoidal surface generated by a plurality of magnetic field measurements. A displacement of the ellipsoid from a reference frame origin corresponds to hard iron or permanent magnetic field interference. A shape and orientation of the ellipsoid corresponds to soft iron magnetic field interference. The ellipsoidal surface may be analyzed to obtain magnetic field compensation values for cancelling hard iron and soft iron interference.
