A device includes a touch screen display comprising a touch sensitive panel and a display. The touch sensitive panel receives a touch event, and records the touch event as touch panel data. The device analyzes the touch panel data to identify the touch event as a valid or a non-valid touch event, determines, if the touch event is a non-valid touch event and based on the touch panel data, one or more regions of a touch panel display associated with the non-valid touch event, and turns off or dims the determined one or more regions of the touch panel display.

Aspects described herein relate to communication settings in wireless devices and in particular, to communication settings in waterproof wireless devices. Aspects described herein also relate to a method and device for handling communication settings in a waterproof wireless device. According to one aspect, the disclosure relates to a method, performed in a wireless device including communication circuitry for wireless communication, of reducing power consumption. The method includes the steps of detecting that at least a part of the wireless device is submerged in water and reducing power supplied to the communication circuitry based on the detection. Aspects described herein further relate to a wireless device for implementing the method and a corresponding computer program.

A method includes receiving registration information for a plurality of user devices associated with a streaming service. The method includes storing information about switching statistics for switching between the plurality of user devices that receive the streaming service. The method includes determining an expected switching scenario when switching between the plurality of user devices is probable to occur. The method also includes monitoring a current user device among the plurality of user devices that currently receives the streaming service to detect the expected switching scenario. The method further includes initiating preparation for handover of streaming service, and performing handover of the streaming service from the current user device to at least one resuming user device among the plurality of user devices.
