摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for providing a store platform for interacting with shoppers in real time are disclosed. The platform is based on a combination of wireless-enabled sensors located strategically in retail stores and computer servers. The computer may be local, remote, or in a cloud. The sensors are used to ‘scan’ the presence of shoppers in front of products in retail aisles and the computer servers ‘analyze’ the shoppers' profile based on pre-stored and newly-sensed information. The analyzed profiles are used to ‘connect’ with shoppers in real time and push electronic incentives and product information to shoppers' mobile devices. The ‘sensed’ information, in conjunction with the pre-stored data, is also used to update the shoppers' profile and generate analytics related to shopper behavior, brand loyalty, etc.

摘要: A combined telecommunications and data communications system operates by partitioning data wherein the PCM speech transmission data field is used to contain both digitized speech and other data in the same channel within a frame. Thus the system enables speech and data to be combined in a common information field and to be simultaneously transmitted in the same channel, frame by frame, through a digital switching network. The switching network contains a common port which has a digital interface connected to the port which digital interface can separate and combine the speech and the data fields. The digital interface is connected to a conference module which conference module receives the speech fields via a speech bus. The digital interface is further connected to a data base system which data base system receives the separated data fields via a data tone bus. Through the unique use of a digital interface for combining and separating speech and data fields from the information field of a channel, a conference module and a data base may both be connected to a single port thereby reducing the number of ports and network channels required for simultaneous conferencing and data base access.

摘要: The present invention discloses a data partitioning technique wherein the PCM speech transmission data field is utilized to contain both digitized speech (for example, from a telephone) and other data (for example, from a data terminal) in the same channel within a frame having a plurality of channels e.g. 32 channels, of information. This enables the speech and data to be combined in a common information field and simultaneously transmitted in the same channel, frame by frame, through a digital switching network to other system users. Also, in accordance with the present invention, system users can individually selectively access a data base system through the switching network, such that the same information can be broadcast from the database system to a plurality of system users, or such that different information can be accessed in the database system by a plurality of system users and simultaneously transmitted to different users in different channels. A novel technique for transmitting information from the database system via a telecommunication systems tone bus interconnecting the system is described.

摘要: A fault-tolerant clock signal distribution system for a plurality of equipment units is disclosed. Fault tolerance is achieved by independent bussing of clock signals from each of a pair of duplicated clock sources to a plurality of clock receiver units, each receiver unit associated with one of the plurality of equipment units and including sequential logic apparatus operative to examine the two clock signal trains bussed to the clock receiver unit and to ignore that signal train that phase lags the other. In case the phase leading clock source or its transmission bus fails, the remaining clock signal takes over. Because the outputs of the duplicated clock sources are distributed over separate busses, either source may comprise the phase-leading clock at any particular clock receiver unit. The phase difference between the two clock source outputs is kept small enough such that any resultant irregularity in the clock receiver unit output upon failure of one of the two clock sources or transmission busses will not affect the normal operation of the equipment units served by the clock distribution arrangement.

摘要: Aspect of the present disclosure include A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) in which an intermediate relay node may engage in discreet packet-dropping practices for selfish (e.g., to conserve power) or other reasons. Each node in such a MANET has a dynamic reputation level known to all other nodes. Embodiments include improving the overall performance or robustness of such a MANET by adopting a routing strategy (e.g. routing protocol) which considers the reputation levels of intermediate relaying nodes in determining the best route from a source to a destination. Embodiments of the present disclosure also include a system for discovering a route between two nodes in a communication network. One or more nodes: (i) determine a reputation level of each neighboring node; (ii) sending a route discovery message that is addressed to the destination node to one neighboring node having a highest reputation level.
