摘要: Port tap fiber optic modules and related systems and methods for monitoring optical networks are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the port tap fiber optic modules disclosed herein include connections that employ a universal wiring scheme. The universal writing scheme ensure compatibility of attached monitor devices to permit a high density of both live and tap fiber optic connections, and to maintain proper polarity of optical fibers among monitor devices and other devices. In other embodiments, the port tap fiber optic modules are provided as high-density port tap fiber optic modules. The high-density port tap fiber optic modules are configured to support a specified density of live and passive tap fiber optic connections. Providing high-density port tap fiber optic modules can support greater connection bandwidth capacity to provide a migration path for higher data rates while minimizing the space needed for such fiber optic equipment.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for treating raw human milk to produce treated human milk having undetectable levels of bacteria. The milk is skimmed to produce skim human milk then subjected to microfiltration to yield a filtrate which has undetectable levels of bacteria, including Bacillus cereus. The resultant human milk can be further processed, used and/or sold.

摘要: A fiber optic assembly includes first and second sets of ferrules. The first set of ferrules includes a first ferrule supporting a first plurality of optical fibers including first and second groups of optical fibers, a second ferrule supporting a second plurality of optical fibers including third and fourth groups of optical fibers, and a third ferrule supporting a third plurality of optical fibers including fifth and sixth groups of optical fibers. The second set of ferrules includes a fourth ferrule and a fifth ferrule. The fourth ferrule supports optical fibers of the first, second, third, and fourth groups of optical fibers, and the fifth ferrule supports optical fibers of the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth groups of optical fibers.
