Abstract:
Disclosed is a visual inspection apparatus for a glass substrate of a liquid crystal display, comprising an inspection platform and at least two slide rails. The glass substrate for inspection is fixedly located on an inspection platform main body. The slide rails are installed at two adjacent sides of the main body leastwise. Length directions of the slide rails are parallel with a level of the main body. The lengths of the two adjacent slide rails are mutually perpendicular; the visual inspection apparatus further comprises a coordinate reader. The coordinate reader is slidably jointed to the slide rails and employed to cross above the level of the main body to form a locating point. An inspector reads a coordinate of the locating point to acquire a corresponding coordinate of the glass substrate. The present invention also provides an inspection method for a glass substrate of a liquid crystal display.

Abstract:
A cosmetic bottle with least one inner sub-bottle comprises a bottle body being a hollow casing with an upper opening and an lower opening; an inner sub-bottle being a hollow casing with an upper opening; the inner sub-bottle being placed within the bottle body; an inner space being formed between the inner sub-bottle and the bottle body; and the inner sub-bottle serving to receive cosmetic material; an engaging cover having an opening which is aligned to the upper opening of the inner sub-bottle in assembled state; an upper cover having a sealed top surface; the upper cover being engaged to the engaging cover; and a lower base having a bottom surface with a lateral enclosure which is engageable to the bottom of the bottle body.
Abstract:
A vacuum apparatus of rotary motion entry is disclosed, which comprises: a shaft sleeve, disposed on a cavity wall of a vacuum system; a rotary shaft, ensheathed by the shaft sleeve; and a transmission set, connected to the rotary shaft for driving the same; wherein, the rotary shaft is disposed passing through a hole formed on the base of the shaft sleeve while there are a first bearing, a second bearing, a sealing ring and a shaft seal being arranged separately inside the hole. Moreover, the shaft seal has a flake-like lip flange formed extending toward the center of the hole, that is capable of being extended away from the vacuum system by the inserting of the rotary shaft into the hole, and thereby, enabling the lip flange to engage with the rotary shaft tightly by the atmospheric pressure and thus isolating the outside world from the vacuum system.
Abstract:
A method of optimizing the usage of communication buses is disclosed. In this method, a slave may function, when necessary, as a ‘pseudo-master’. This allows direct communication between slaves, one of which functions as a ‘pseudo-master’. This hence relieves the Master device of the load required as an intermediary for the communication of said slaves.
Abstract:
A mug with replaceable pattern is provided. The mug has a mug body, a pattern jacket, and a bottom base. The mug body is covered by the pattern jacket on a surface thereof. The bottom base is locked to the bottom of the mug body to prevent the pattern jacket from departing from the mug body. By replacing pattern of the pattern jacket, a mug can be created of the same mug body model with a different outlook.
Abstract:
A fastener includes a main body, a light guide, and a threaded securing member. The light guide is fit over the main body. The main body with the light guide thereon is fit into a mounting hole of a mounting plate and the threaded securing member engages a threaded section of the main body, whereby a top retention portion of the main body and the threaded securing member together establish abutting engagement that securely fixes the main body to the mounting hole. A light source unit is arranged in the threaded securing member and connected to a power source. Illuminators are mounted on the light source unit may give off light that is guided by the light guide to emit through a light emission portion of the light guide. Thus, the light emission portion of the main body may serve as a lighting ring for warning or indication purposes.
Abstract:
A slider for a linear slide system has a body, a cycling frame, multiple rolling elements and two end plates. The body has a base and two leg portions. The leg portions are formed longitudinally near two sides of the base so that the body has a substantially U-shaped cross section. The cycling frame is mounted around the body and has two cycling passages, two ends and two sockets. The cycling passages are defined respectively around the leg portions. The sockets are formed respectively on the ends of the cycling frame. The rolling elements are rotatably and moveably held in the cycling passages. The end plates are inserted respectively into the sockets of the cycling frame.
Abstract:
A rolling element chain has a connecting belt and multiple retaining elements. The connecting belt is extended longitudinally and has multiple receiving holes. The receiving holes are defined at intervals through the connecting belt and have two sides opposite to each other. The retaining elements are mounted in pairs on the belt near the sides of each receiving hole and each retaining element has multiple retaining surfaces adjacent to each other. Each retaining surface has a straight segment and a projecting segment having a projecting edge. The straight segments and the projecting segments of the adjacent retaining surfaces on each retaining element are arranged in an alternative manner. The retaining surfaces on each pair of the retaining elements are opposite and facing to each other.
Abstract:
An enzyme multimer is provided which comprises a plurality of monomer units including a first monomer unit having enzymatic activity and a second monomer unit having enzymatic activity, wherein each of the first monomer unit and the second monomer unit comprise a cysteine residue and the cysteine residues of each monomer unit are covalently bound to each other through a disulfide bond to covalently attach the first monomer unit to the second monomer unit.
