Abstract:
A pipeline structure with a lining material wherein a hermetic outer tube is disposed at the inner surface of a pipeline, and an inner lining material is disposed at the inner surface of the outer tube, said inner lining being made of a rigid fiber-reinforced plastic wherein a thermosetting resin is reinforced by a fiber reinforcement material.
Abstract:
Methods of lining the internal surface of a pipe, include first inserting two lining pigs into the pipe and then introducing a batch of resin thereinto, or inserting one lining pig between two batches of a resin, or first inserting a lining pig and then inserting two batches of a resin with another lining pig therebetween, or first introducing a lining pig made of a soft material capable of deforming so as to pass through a narrow-passing section and then introducing a batch of a resin into the pipe, causing the resin to move forward until the front end of the resin reaches an inner end of the pipe, and sucking the resin back from the inner end so as to line the internal surface of the pipe with the resin. The methods use improved liquid blocking pigs for use in pipe lining treatment, each of such pigs includes a spherical body made of a soft resilient material and at least one flexible liquid barrier diaphragm interposed in the spherical body.

Abstract:
There is provided a method of lining an existing underground main pipe involving a branch pipe. The method comprises injecting a necessary amount of resin into the branch pipe from an open end thereof, introducing behind the resin a pig apparatus into the branch pipe, applying a positive pressure behind the resin and pig apparatus in the branch pipe to cause the resin and pig apparatus to move forward until the entire internal surface of the branch pipe is lined with the resin by means of the pig apparatus and until the pig apparatus reaches and slightly passes beyond a branching position where the branch pipe is branching from the main pipe, applying a negative pressure behind the pig apparatus in the branch pipe to cause the pig apparatus to stop at the branching position such that the branch pipe is completely isolated from the main pipe, injecting a necessary amount of resin into the main pipe from an open end thereof, inserting behind the resin a lining pig into the main pipe, applying a positive pressure behind the resin and lining pig in the main pipe to cause the resin and lining pig to move through the main pipe along the entire length thereof, so as to form a resin lining layer on the internal surface of the main pipe.
Abstract:
An information processing unit and a method for making the same with a cooling structure for a heat generating element, for example a CPU, which can efficiently cool the CPU without losing flexibility of a board level packaging. The information processing apparatus includes a cooling unit cooling the heat generating element, an airflow supply unit supplying airflow to a part of the cooling unit, an airflow control unit controlling airflow applied to the airflow supply unit, an inlet, and an outlet. The airflow supply unit, the airflow control unit, and the part of the cooling unit are linearly arranged. The inlet is located to draw air towards the airflow control unit and the exhaust is located to exhaust air from the part of the cooling unit.
Abstract:
A reversible lining tube for repairing an existing pipeline is reversible into the existing pipeline so that its initial inner surface becomes its outer surface which adheres to the internal surface of the pipeline. In detail, the reversible lining tube includes an elastomer layer and a flock layer, prior to reversal into the existing pipeline the elastomer layer is an outer layer and the flock layer is an inner layer, upon reversal into the existing pipeline the elastomer layer becomes an inner layer and the flock layer becomes an outer layer which adheres to the internal surface of the existing pipeline.
Abstract:
There is provided a method of lining the internal surface of a pipe involving a larger diameter portion, said method comprising the steps of inserting a first pig into the pipe from an open end thereof, said first pig being a spherical body made of a resilient material having a diameter larger than the pipe inner diameter and having a number of grooves formed on the surface thereof for permitting air escape, injecting behind the first pig a necessary amount of resin into the pipe, inserting behind the resin a second pig into the pipe, said second pig having a diameter smaller than the pipe inner diameter such that a resin lining layer having a desired thickness may be formed on the internal surface of the pipe, providing a positive pressure and applying the positive pressure behind the second pig in the pipe, and causing the first pig, the resin and the second pig to move through the pipe along the entire length thereof by the positive pressure, so as to form a resin lining layer on the internal surface of the pipe by means of the second pig.

Abstract:
An engineering method of providing a lining onto the internal face of conduits for gas, city water, etc. that are buried underground. This lining work shall entirely be done from the portions exposed above ground. The distance of the supply pipe to the service tee is measured. The lining tube is set to a length that is slightly longer than this distance. The lining tube is turned inside out inside the supply pipe. As a result, a slightly longer length of non-reverse portion is left inside the supply pipe by the service tee. This non-reverse portion is helpful when cutting the rewinding tape that is tied to the lining tube after the insertion of a cutter. Next the heating tube shall be reversed similarly, and a hot water hose is inserted for circulating hot water in the heating tube. The aforesaid lining tube coated with the thermosetting adhesive is bonded onto the internal face of supply pipe. Next the heating tube is pulled out and the rewinding tape of the lining tube is cut and removed. A fusion-cutting heat rod is inserted for fusion-cutting the tip of lining tube for an opening. Then the fusion-cutting heat rod is pulled out.
