摘要： An internal combustion engine in which it can be made difficult for bubbles to mix into oil in a flowing-down process of the oil. In a generator chamber, a shielding rib is provided which is disposed between a generator and an oil introduction port in side view and which extends skewly upwardly from the oil introduction port in a manner so as to cover one end side of the oil introduction port. A guide rib extends from a side wall of the generator chamber in the manner of covering the other end side of the oil introduction port.

摘要： In an internal combustion engine, a lubricated camshaft assembly is in a cam chamber formed between a cylinder head and a cylinder head cover. The cylinder head includes outer bolt-receiving holes in which selected head bolts are inserted, and which are outside of the cam chamber. An oil discharge passage in the cylinder head has an inlet opened into the cam chamber, and an outlet opened into an outer bolt-receiving hole. The inlet of the oil discharge passage is disposed on one lateral side of the cam chamber. An opening part of a timing chamber is on the other lateral side of the cam chamber. An endless loop timing chain or belt is disposed inside of the timing cover, for transmitting the power of a crankshaft to the camshaft. A vehicle, which may be a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle, may incorporate the engine and cylinder head as described.

摘要： An internal combustion engine includes an intake passage structure. The engine is configured such that a cylinder head is formed integrally with an intake manifold portion. A cylinder central axis is oriented parallel to an extending direction of an intake passage, when viewed in a side view. An injector is arranged such that it does not interfere with peripheral components, including the intake passage and a throttle body. The injector is disposed in the intake manifold portion such that a leading end thereof is oriented towards the intake valve of the cylinder head. The intake passage on the upstream side of an injector attachment position is offset from the injector in a width-direction of the internal combustion engine.

摘要： A valve system of an overhead-camshaft-type internal combustion engine includes a cam holder fastened to a cylinder head having a combustion chamber formed therein. The cam holder supports a camshaft, and is disposed above the combustion chamber. The cam holder includes a bottom wall, a pair of oppositely-facing support walls having lower sides thereof joined with each other by the bottom wall, and a rib joining predetermined oppositely-facing portions of respective upper side portions of the support walls with each other. The support walls of the cam holder pivotally support the cam shaft. The rib may be integrated with the cam holder, or may be separately formed and fastened to the support walls of the cam holder.

摘要： In an internal combustion engine, a lubricated camshaft assembly is in a cam chamber formed between a cylinder head and a cylinder head cover.
