    摘要: Provided is a handoff processing method including measuring a moving speed of a mobile terminal; measuring a size of a data packet generated in an application layer; measuring quality of a data transmission channel of the mobile terminal; calculating a maximum handoff delay time based on a relation between the moving speed and the data packet's size; estimating a handoff occurrence time point, based on a relation between a variation of the quality of the data transmission channel and the quality of the data transmission channel; and calculating a packet size and a moving speed of the mobile terminal that can minimize a delay due to a handoff occurrence by taking account of a handoff delay time according to the size of the data packet generated in the application layer and a moving speed of the mobile terminal into consideration, and providing the calculated packet size and moving speed.

The battery levels of the main battery and auxiliary battery are measured and are controlled to prevent charging of the auxiliary battery with a charge current from the main battery through switch settings.

    摘要: A duo-binary encoder performs a parallel processing and an optical duo-binary transmission apparatus using the encoder to enhance transmission capability. The duo-binary encoder has a judgment unit for judging whether an odd number or even number of ‘0’s exists in data input signals of N channels, a toggle unit for toggling an output signal of the judgment unit when a number of ‘0’s is even, an intermediate signal generation unit for determining whether phases of other channels are shifted or not, according to an data input signal on the basis of a predetermined channel of the N channels. A phase division unit divides data into a first data group having non-shifted phases and a second group of data that require a phase shift, according to an output signal of the intermediate signal generation unit and the data input signal. The divided first and second data groups are then output.

    摘要: A bi-directional path switched ring optical transmission node has simple configuration which reduces the influence of a wave reflected by an obstacle on optical line.The BPSR optical transmission node connects to a first optical line through which an odd channel signal and an even channel signal are transmitted to and from the BPSR optical transmission node in direction opposite to each other. The BPSR optical transmission node further connects to a second optical line through which the odd channel signal and the even channel signal are transmitted from and to the BPSR optical transmission node in direction opposite to each other. The BPSR optical transmission n-ode includes a node section for directing the odd channel signal and the even channel signal, dropping/adding a desired channel from/to the odd channel signal and the even channel signal,and then allowing each of the odd channel signal and the even channel signal to proceed in a direction traveled by that channel signal upon arriving at the BPSR optical transmission node; and filtering section coupled between the node section and respective optical lines, the filtering section allowing only one of the odd channel signal and the even channel signal to pass without attenuating the signal.
