Abstract:
A transverse flux machine includes a stator assembly consisting of a plurality of shaped cores, each having a base with a plurality of legs with a corresponding gap between each leg and each leg having a winding. A rotor assembly is positioned adjacent the stator assembly and includes a rotor disc, and a rotor ring with a plurality of rotor poles interleaved with a plurality of interpoles. The plurality of rotor poles and plurality of interpoles are radially disposed around the rotor disc. The plurality of rotor poles include a plurality of focused rotor poles interleaved with a plurality of diffused rotor poles.
Abstract:
In a vertical through hole of a rotational shaft, a first protrusion portion and a second protrusion portion protruding from an inner peripheral surface of the vertical through hole are provided in an axial direction of the though hole to form a storage area for storing oil, and discharge holes for directly discharging oil flowing over the first protrusion portion into the transaxle casing are provided in parallel with the cooling holes.
Abstract:
First and second connection mechanisms electrically connect power cables extending in the same direction to first and second electric motor neighboring to each other in the extending direction of the power cables, respectively. The first connection mechanism of the first electric motor is arranged in a radially outer portion, and the second connection mechanism of the second electric motor is arranged in a space between the electric motors. Since both the connection mechanisms are located on the opposite sides of a joint surface between the first and second casings accommodating the first and second motors, respectively, the first and second connection mechanisms can be components on the first and second casing sides, respectively. This structure can prevent increase in size in a rotation axis direction, and can improve assembly workability for the motors.

Abstract:
A stator that includes a cylindrical stator core, which has a plurality of slots that are provided at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction and open toward an inner peripheral surface of the stator core; and a coil, which has a coil end portion protruding from an axial end of the stator core.
Abstract:
The shield shell is formed of a shield shell main body, a shield shell auxiliary member and a fixing member. The shield shell main body is made of die-cast aluminum. The shield shell auxiliary member is formed by pressing a steel plate, and has a surface plated with gold. The fixing member has a ring shape, which is formed by pressing a steel plate. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a shield shell that can be manufactured at a low cost, that can improve reliability of the shielding effect, and that can improve assembling workability of the shielded wire.
Abstract:
A feed cable to a motor is electrically connected to an internal conductor of a terminal block by a contact, by a mating structure of a male connector and a female connector. To the tip of varnish-treated motor winding, a flexible bus bar that is a flexible member is connected. By electrically connecting the motor winding to the internal conductor via the flexible bus bar with high flexibility, the feed cable and the motor winding are electrically connected. The component tolerance can be absorbed by deformation of the flexible bus bar, and the motor module can be fastened to the terminal block unforcedly.
Abstract:
A vehicle-connector routing structure is provided with which routing can be made through a narrow space. The vehicle-connector routing structure includes a chassis having an engine compartment and a tunnel continuing from the engine compartment, motors provided in the tunnel, and vehicle connectors connected to the motors. The vehicle connectors include bus bars extending at least from the motors to the engine compartment through the tunnel. One bus bar extends to an inverter. The other bus bar is connected to a flexible electric wire.

Abstract:
A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor which has a rotor core formed by stacking magnetic plates having an annular plate shape in an axial direction, a permanent magnet is inserted into a magnet insertion hole formed in the rotor core, and a rotor shaft is inserted into a shaft insertion hole surrounded by an inner peripheral surface of the rotor core; and a stator. A radial communication passage is formed by a communication penetration hole group that is formed by sequentially communicating a plurality of the penetration holes from a shaft insertion hole to a magnetic resistance hole in the radial direction. The plurality of the penetration holes are divided into at least two specific magnetic plates and formed such that the radial positions of the penetration holes are different from each other and the penetration holes partially overlap each other when viewed in the axial direction.
