    摘要: An inner fin is provided in a fluid pipe for dividing a fluid passage for heating medium into multiple small fluid passages, so as to facilitate heat exchange between the heating medium and an electronic part. The inner fin is formed in a wave shape in a cross section perpendicular to a flow direction of the heating medium, wherein the inner fin has projecting portions alternately projecting in one direction and in the other direction. The inner fin is composed of multiple fin portions, wherein a fin pitch of a first fin portion is made to be smaller than a fin pitch of a second fin portion, which faces to the electronic part.

The holding portions having slightly smaller diameter than the diameter of the spring for temporarily holding the end of the spring.

    摘要: An exhaust gas cooling device, which cools exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle through heat exchange between the exhaust gas and a coolant, includes: a plurality of tubes through which the exhaust gas flows; a tubular shell which houses the plurality of tubes and is configured to allow the coolant to flow therethrough; and a header plate disposed at an end portion in the shell to prevent the coolant from flowing out of the shell. The header plate includes support holes in which end portions of the plurality of the tubes are fitted and supported, and each of axial end faces of the plurality of tubes is located in the corresponding support hole at a position between both ends of the header plate in a thickness direction of the header plate.

    摘要: A pipe unit (100) with a connector (120), and a producing method thereof, are disclosed. The pipe unit (100) includes the tabular connector (120) having at least a through hole (121) into which the end portion of a corresponding pipe member (110) is inserted. The end portion of the pipe member (110) is increased in diameter and thereby caulked on the inner surface of the through hole (121). The pipe member (110) includes an enlarged portion (111) with the diameter thereof increased and a non-enlarged portion (112) with the diameter thereof not increased, which are connected to each other by a stepped portion (113) formed outside the connector (120). The thickness of the connector (120) and the machining cost of the through hole (121) are reduced.

    摘要: A method for forming a plurality of slits in a tube includes first, forming a plurality of grooves in the pipe by operating a grooving punch along the length of each of the slits to be made. Then, each slit is formed in the pipe by operating a hole-making punch. The punch has ends at an acute angle and the punch is recessed from the ends toward the center thereof. In view of the fact that each groove is formed beforehand in the surface of the pipe and that the corresponding slit is made while moving the hole-making punch slowly from the ends, a large load is not exerted on the pipe and therefore the pipe is not crushed, burrs are not generated and the cutting chip is removed.

    摘要: A heat exchanger has plural tubes and a header tank formed by a first tank portion and a second tank portion. When the first tank portion and the second tank portion are assembled, a protruding portion protruding from a wall of the first tank portion is inserted into a hole formed in the second tank portion. Then, the first tank portion is slidably moved against the second tank portion in a parallel direction with respect to a longitudinal direction of the header tank until the protruding portion engages the hole. As a result, the second tank portion is partially clamped between the wall of the first tank portion and the protruding portion, and the first and second tank portions sufficiently contact each other. Therefore, undesirable clearance is restricted from being formed between the first and second tank portions, and brazing performance therebetween is improved.
