摘要: A device and a process for processing and/or joining work pieces via laser radiation, with an effective power laser and a pilot target laser that emit laser beams of different wavelengths, with the laser beams being directed at the work pieces by laser optics. Regarding the laser beams, by the laser optics that comprise at least one diffractive optical element (DOE) as a masking system, the beam pattern of the pilot target laser is adjusted to match the beam pattern of the effective laser beam. This is accomplished preferably by removing the pilot laser beam from the effective laser beam for part of the path length by dichroic mirrors, and by expanding the diverging pilot laser beam on said part of the path length by deflecting mirrors whose distance from the dichroic mirrors is variable.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining the temperature-dependent state, in particular the melt state and/or the melt quantity of thermoplastic material when producing a weld seam (6), for example for joining thermoplastic parts (7, 7′) by means of a plastic welding device. For process control purposes, a temperature-dependent electric state variable of the thermoplastic material of the plastic parts (7, 7′) is measured continuously with and without applying heat to the plastic parts (7, 7′) along the weld seam (6) and compared to a target value or to benchmark values. In the method according to the invention, the electric state variable that is used is preferably the permittivity of the plastic parts (7, 7′). The permittivity is determined by means of the capacitor assembly (1) wherein the plastic material is used as the dielectric between the electrodes (3, 4) of the capacitor assembly (1). The capacitors (2) of the capacitor assembly (1) are preferably operated at different frequencies for the determination of the permittivity.

摘要: An induction connecting sleeve for connecting weldable thermoplastic elements by means of fusion, with at least two sockets for the insertion of connection sections of the thermoplastic elements to be connected, and with an induction heating element embedded in the sockets, with operative sections of the induction heating element surrounded completely by a weldable thermoplastic material, and with the induction heating element arranged coaxially to the sockets. The induction heating element may be manufactured of metallic material with spring characteristics and to embed it under pre-tension in the thermoplastic material of the sockets. When the induction heating element is heated and the thermoplastic material of the socket of the induction connecting sleeve is plasticized, the induction heating element relaxes which causes radial pressure to build towards the connection section.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for the adjustment of a laser light spot of high intensity for the laser processing of work pieces as well as a laser device for performing the proposed process. The laser device comprises a laser emitting a laser beam and at least one focusing lens for converging the laser beam as well as an optical operating element for adjusting the beam diameter of the laser beam. The invention proposes to use as operating element a diffractive optical element that separates the laser beam emitted by the laser into partial laser beams, with the partial laser beams generated by the diffractive optical element being assembled to form a resulting laser beam that acts on the work piece. By means of a suitable design of the diffractive optical element it is possible to adjust, in particular enlarge, the diameter of the laser light spot as required.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for connecting material webs disposed with overlapping edges, wherein an automatic welding machine having a driven chassis and a drive unit disposed thereon and a welding unit is guided along the overlap zone of the material webs to be connected, such that the carried welding unit connects the edges to be connected to one another. The invention further relates to an automatic welding machine for performing the method. The invention proposes that a temporary guide marking moving along with the chassis be generated along the edge of the overlapping material web by means of a marking unit disposed on the chassis, said guide marking always extending parallel to the edge and prescribing the path of the automatic welding machine on the overlapping material web and that the guide marking be detected by means of a sensor device during the movement of the automatic welding machine, wherein a control signal is generated for a display unit and/or the drive unit and the chassis is movable along the guide marking by means of the control signal.
