摘要: A multi-output DC-DC converter is advantageous over the conventional multi-output DC-DC converter in terms of increased power efficiency and power density. The inventive multi-output DC-DC converter is characterized by that the rectifying circuit located at the output stage of the DC-DC converter is implemented by a pair of self-driven synchronous rectifier transistors that can prevent a reverse current from flowing through the switch elements of the DC-DC converter. Also, a plurality of post voltage regulators are tapped to a secondary winding of the DC-DC converter, in which each post voltage regulator includes a voltage level shifter circuit for allowing gate drivers to impose a small amount of dead time on the control pulse signals for driving the internal transistor switches to minimize the dead time loss occurred during power conversion operation.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a series of new polycationic biodegradable polyphosphoramidates. Process for making the polymers, compositions containing these polymers and bioactive ligands to enhance the cellular uptake ad intracellular trafficking, articles and methods for delivery of drugs and genes using these polymers are described. A gene delivery system based on these polymers is prepared by complex coacervation of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) with polymers. Targeting ligands and molecules that could facilitate gene transfer can be conjugated to polymers to achieve selective and enhanced gene delivery. The current invention also provides a complex composition with buffering capacity.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a biodegradable system for the controlled release of bioactive substances. This system comprises novel biodegradable and biocompatible polyphosphoesters that carry positive charges. Process for making these polyphosphoesters, compositions containing these polyphosphoesters and biologically active substances, articles and methods for delivery of drugs and genes using this system are described. A controlled gene delivery system based on these polyphosphoesters is prepared by complex coacervation of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) with polymers. The release rates can be manipulated by adjusting the charge ratios of polyphosphoesters to nucleic acids. This gene delivery system yields a higher gene expression in muscle when injected intramuscularly.

摘要: A method of forming blind holes in a sheet material is provided. The method includes forming a recessed segment in the sheet material, stamping the recessed segment between a tapered punch and a pad to form a blind hole having a sealed end and a sidewall, wherein the pad includes a profiling pin that is enclosed by the sealed end and the sidewall. The method further includes forming a material channel interposed between The tapered punch and a tapered die, and compressing the material channel to generate a material flow into the sidewall. The material channel may be narrowed to allow more material flow into the sidewall for additional sidewall thickness.

摘要: A method of forming blind holes in a sheet material is provided. The method includes punching the sheet material to define a hollow projection through the material and shearing a layer of material from the sheet material to form a sealed end over an opening of the hollow projection to form the blind hole. Further processing of the sheet material may be required depending on the desired diameter of the blind hole. Such further processing includes enlarging the hollow projection to a desired diameter of the blind hole and shearing the layer of material with several tapered pins with progressively decreasing diameters. As the sealed end formed is likely to have an uneven surface, the sealed end may be flattened to render a more refined appearance.
