摘要: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus that generates preorder information identifying a plurality of consumer items to be prepared at designated begin times, based at least in part on historical purchase information. At each of the designated begin times a ticket is generated identifying a consumer item, wherein the consumer item has an associated duration such that the consumer item will be ready at a finished time. Each ticket is provided to a client computing device, wherein the tickets further include at least a remaining amount of time until the identified consumer item reaches the finished time. A request is received from the client computing device to claim one of the consumer items identified by one of the provided tickets. Each of the claimed consumer items is associated with a claimed status. The historical purchase information is updated based on the request.

摘要: Single-use character combinations are a secure mechanism for user authentication. Such “one-time passwords” (OTPs) can be generated by a mobile device to which the user otherwise maintains easy access. A key exchange, such as in accordance with the Diffie-Hellman algorithm, can provide both the mobile device and a server with a shared secret from which the OTPs can be generated. The shared secret can be derived from parameters posted on the server and updated periodically, and the mobile device can obtain such parameters from the server before generating an OTP. Such parameters can also specify the type of OTP mechanism to be utilized. A second site can, independently, establish an OTP mechanism with the mobile device. For efficiency, the first server can provide an identity token which provides the mobile device's public key in a trusted manner, enabling more efficient generation of the shared secret with the second server.

摘要: A liquid injection and ratio control system is provided for blending an additive into a main flow line at a controlled ratio. The system automatically detects variances in temperature, pressure, and additive concentration and provides compensation thereto. The system also provides for automatic flow detection, calibration responsive to a level gauge, automated data collection, and wireless bi-directional communication.

摘要: Methods and structures for reducing the moisture penetration in an optical device such as an isolator, collimator, filters, circulators, and the like. Methods can include placing an optical cover over the opening(s) of the housing of the optical device. The optical cover can be bonded by epoxy or metallic seal. A moisture prevention coating can be placed over the seal line between the optical cover and the housing to further enhance moisture prevention.

摘要: A general method is given for screening laser diodes for electrostatic discharge, (ESD), damage. The laser diode may be selectively isolated from the laser driver so that a current-voltage (I-V), curve can be taken and then compared to curves taken previously on the same laser diode to ascertain the possibility of ESD damage. Presumably the initial I-V curve will be representative of the characteristics of that particular laser in the undamaged state. Such an initial curve may be supplied by the manufacturer and may be a curve specific to a particular laser diode. Comparison with a standard curve is not sufficient to determine ESD damage in the early stages of failure. Some embodiments focus on isolating the laser diode from the laser driver, storing the information locally in the transceiver, and providing some analysis resulting in flagging laser diodes showing changes that are indicative of ESD damage.

摘要: An antimicrobial coating system and method are described. In some embodiments, a system may include a composition. The composition may include one or more bridged polycyclic compounds. At least one of the bridged polycyclic compounds may include at least two cyclic groups, and at least two of the cyclic groups may include quaternary ammonium moieties. In some embodiments, a method may include applying an antimicrobial coating to an oral surface, a surface of a construction substrate, a surface of a marine substrate, a surface of a medical device, or a surface of a personal care device. The protective coating may be antimicrobial. A protective coating may include antimicrobial bridged polycyclic compounds. Bridged polycyclic compounds may include quaternary ammonium compounds. Bridged polycyclic compounds based coating systems may impart self-cleaning properties to a surface (e.g., a tooth surface).
