A dual directional sliding hinge is mounted in a portable device with a cover, a first base and a second base and has a main panel, a first sliding unit, a second sliding unit. The main panel is attached to the cover. The first sliding unit is attached to the first base. The second sliding unit is attached to the second base. When the first and second sliding units slide at the closing position, the cover and the first and second bases are folded to have a smallest volume. Since the first and second sliding units have different sliding distances when sliding to different directions, the functioning units on the first and second bases are revealed alternatively. Therefore, the user can decide to use different functioning units as desired.

A hinge assembly has a pintle, a rotating bracket, a sliding bracket, a mounting bracket, a compression assembly and an elastic member. The rotating bracket is mounted rotatably around the shaft and has a latching portion. The sliding bracket is attached securely to the pintle and has a track. The mounting bracket and a latching arm. The latching arm selectively presses against the latching portion to hold the hinge closed. The compression assembly is mounted around and expands when the pintle is rotated to close. The elastic member is compressed by expansion of the compression assembly so automatically rotates the pintle to open. Therefore, with the hinge mounted in an electronic device, when the latching portion is slid out of the latching arm, the hinge is forced to open by the elastic member and compression assembly so a cover pops up and is opened easily.

A process for preparing a photoanode of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) is disclosed, which contains nano TiO2 and functionalized carbon nanomateiral. The process includes reacting a dispersion of functionalized carbon nanomateiral and a TiO2 precursor in a liquid organic medium under sol-gel conditions to form a carbon nanomaterial/nano TiO2 composite colloidal solution; mixing with an aqueous polymer solution, and forming a paste suitable for coating by concentrating the resulting mixture; coating the paste on a conductive glass substrate and calcining the coated layer at 300-520° C. in air for 10-60 minutes to obtain a conductive glass plate having a coating of nanocomposite, which can be used to prepare a photoanode of DSSCs by immersing in a dye solution to adsorb a dye thereon.

The DTV/ATV/DAB/AAB interface converter connects to one of the terminals and a digital/analog tuner to receive DTV/ATV/DAB/AAB signals and converts the DTV/ATV/DAB/AAB signals into DTV/ATV/DAB/AAB data. An audio data storage and playback apparatus is provided, including at least a USB hub or USB SIE, at least a storage media interface, and an audio codec. An upstream port of the USB hub or the USB SIE is connected to an electronic device with a USB interface. The storage media interface is connected to a downstream port of the USB hub or an endpoint of a USB SIE. The storage media interface can be connected to a portable storage media, such as flash memory, CD-R/W, DVD-R/W, and hard disk drive, to enable bi-directional data transmission and storage between the electronic device with a USB interface and the portable storage media connected to the storage media interface. The audio codec player forms a bi-directional data transmission connection with the storage media interface. The audio codec player is connected to at least an audio player and an audio input device. The audio data from the electronic device with a USB interface, the portable storage media connected to the storage media interface or the audio input device can be sent to the audio codec for encoding/decoding, and then stored or played back by the audio player or the electronic device with a USB interface to achieve the object of the present invention of multi-directional transmission, encoding/decoding, storage and playing back of audio data.
