It is possible to compatibly set multiple “dropout” color ranges and “non-dropout” color ranges and uniquely determine a dropout boundary. An object of the present invention is to greatly conserve maintenance cost of adding a new dropout form after apparatus operations. A conventional technology aims at assuring relation to a predetermined color region, determining the presence or absence of contention, or uniquely settling a dropout boundary. The present invention provides a means for supplying levels to a “dropout” color range and a “non-dropout” color range. A registered color range histogram can be quasi-three-dimensionally visualized so that an operator can make adjustment by viewing a contention determination result and an image.

The sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet stack tray on which sheets to be fed are stacked, a drive motor for moving up the sheet stack tray, a detection sensor for detecting the position of an uppermost sheet stacked on the sheet stack tray, and a control part for controlling the function of the drive motor, wherein, when the detection sensor detects that the uppermost sheet reaches a predetermined height while the drive motor executes a drive so as to move up the sheet stack tray, the control part tentatively stops or decelerates the drive motor and thereafter drives the drive motor so as to move up the sheet stacked on the sheet stack tray to a feed position.

A sheet feeding apparatus includes a middle plate, a lifter mechanism, and a sheet-feed roller. The sheet-feed roller can move to a first position retracted from the sheet, a second position lower than the first position for feeding the sheet, and a third position lower than the second position. The sheet feeding apparatus has a position control mode in which when a sheet is fed, the sheet-feed roller is moved from the first position to the third position and stopped there, the middle plate is moved toward the sheet-feed roller by the lifter mechanism, the sheet stacked on the middle plate is brought into abutment against the sheet-feed roller, the middle plate is moved until a position detection sensor outputs the detection signal that the sheet-feed roller is in the second position, and a height of the sheet is controlled.

In a through hole closing process, a metal plate is attached to one surface of a conductive base member having a plurality of through holes by the use of a magnet, in a copper plating process, a copper plating layer is formed on the conductive base member and the metal plate exposed within the through holes, from the side of the conductive base member where the metal plate is not attached, thereby to fill up the through holes, in a film forming process, a Pd alloy film is formed by plating on the surface of the conductive base member after removal of the metal plate, and in a removal process, the copper plating layer is removed by selective etching, thereby to produce a hydrogen production filter that is used in a reformer a fuel cell so as to be capable of stably producing high purity hydrogen gas.

Disclosed is a sheet feeder in which sheets are fed by a feeding member from a tray on which the sheets have been loaded. When the tray is driven by a drive unit to lift up the tray from a sheet replenishment position to a position at which sheets can be fed, a first sensor senses that the top sheet on the tray is situated at a prescribed position. Response to this sensing of the first sensor the drive unit performs a predetermined intermittent driving for lifting the tray. It is determined based upon outputs from the first and second sensors whether or not a sheet is present on the tray.

The invention provides an air bag apparatus of a motor vehicle which can securely protect a passenger in a much close state by an inexpensive means. Since a rear end (a patch portion (19)) of a tether belt (20) is positioned at a vertical surface (A) passing through a rear end (21) of an instrument panel (1) or in a front side thereof, in an initial expanding state of an air bag (4), a rearward development of the air bag (4) is restricted just before a passenger (M) due to a tension of the tether belt (20) even in the case that the passenger (M) stands close to the instrument panel (1), whereby no excessive impact is applied to the passenger (M).

The present invention related to a sheet conveying apparatus comprising a first unit, a second unit and a guide member. The first unit includes a first sheet conveyance route, a second sheet conveyance route, a first delivery opening for delivering, from the first unit, a sheet or sheets from the first sheet conveyance route, and a second delivery opening for delivering, from the second unit, a sheet or sheets from the second sheet conveyance route. The second unit is positioned with a space to the first unit, the second unit having a third sheet conveyance route, and a single introduction opening for introducing, to the third sheet conveyance route, a sheet or sheets delivered from the first delivery opening and the second delivery opening. At least a part of the guide member is disposed at a space between the first unit and the second unit, having a first guide surface for guiding the sheet or sheets from the first delivery opening to the introduction opening, and a second guide surface for guiding the sheet or sheets from the second delivery opening to the introduction opening.
