    摘要: It is possible to compatibly set multiple “dropout” color ranges and “non-dropout” color ranges and uniquely determine a dropout boundary. An object of the present invention is to greatly conserve maintenance cost of adding a new dropout form after apparatus operations. A conventional technology aims at assuring relation to a predetermined color region, determining the presence or absence of contention, or uniquely settling a dropout boundary. The present invention provides a means for supplying levels to a “dropout” color range and a “non-dropout” color range. A registered color range histogram can be quasi-three-dimensionally visualized so that an operator can make adjustment by viewing a contention determination result and an image.

A similarity computation unit computes a similarity between the reference image and the inputted image. A camera anomaly detection unit detects any anomaly in the camera from the difference in image blur and the similarity.

    摘要: Coordinates of a handwritten pattern drawn on a tablet are sequentially sampled by a pattern recognition unit to prepare pattern coordinate data. Based on an area encircled by segments created by the sampled pattern coordinate data of one stroke and a line connecting a start point and an end point of the one-stroke coordinate data, the sampled pattern coordinate data of the one stroke is converted to a straight line and/or curved line segments. The converted segments are quantized and normalized. The segments of the normalized input pattern are rearranged so that the input pattern is drawn in a predetermined sequence. Differences between direction angles for the rearranged segments are calculated. Those differences are compared with differences of the direction angles of the dictionary patterns read from a memory to calculate a difference therebetween. The matching of the input pattern and the dictionary pattern is determined in accordance with the difference. If the matching fails, the first or last inputted segment of the input pattern is deleted or the sampled pattern coordinate data of the next stroke is added, to continue the recognition process.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a multi-user pattern data processing system configured for various kinds of patterns, such as characters, to learn efficiently and effectively. The present invention comprises an input arrangement 1 having patterns entered therein from a plurality of users, a dictionary 2 having patterns and attributes of the patterns belonging thereto defined therein, a recognizing arrangement 4 that receives the entered pattern and a group attribute and retrieves from among the patterns entered in the dictionary and having a corresponding group attribute to feed out the category, and a dictionary editing arrangement 5 for extracting a pattern used in common by a group before editing the pattern, such as entering it in the common dictionary, with the group having the user made to belong thereto. The invention allows the dictionary used to the pattern recognition to learn very efficiently and effectively.

    摘要: An information processing system and method using a file storage unit which stores electronic information and a display unit which displays the electronic information. A discrimination unit discriminates each of a plurality of physical objects indicated by a user.
