Abstract:
A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The panel includes a substrate having a plurality of discharge cells, and barrier ribs defining the discharge cells, the barrier ribs contain carbon in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by weight.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a barrier rib of a plasma display panel and forming method thereof, by which costs for fabricating the barrier rib are reduced and the fabricating method is simplified. The present invention includes forming a white paste layer on a glass substrate and forming a photosensitive black resist layer on the white paste layer, forming a photosensitive black resist pattern by patterning the photosensitive black resist layer, heating the photosensitive black resist pattern so that a wax component contained in the photosensitive black resist pattern diffuses inside the photosensitive black resist pattern, and removing a portion of the white paste layer failing to be covered with the photosensitive black resist pattern and plasticizing the photosensitive black resist pattern and the remaining photosensitive black resist pattern.
Abstract:
A plasma display panel including a barrier rib for separating a discharge space thereof into a discharge cell unit and a method of fabricating the barrier rib. The barrier rib is formed by utilizing an electro plating technique. Accordingly, it is possible to shield electrical and optical interference between discharge cells and to improve the radiation efficiency. The barrier rib fabricating method is so simple that it can obtain an improvement of the productivity and a reduction of the manufacturing cost.

A heat transfer film and a method of manufacturing partition walls of a plasma display panel using the same are disclosed. The heat transfer film includes a base film, a light-heat transforming layer formed on the base film, and a partition wall material layer formed on the light-heat transforming layer.
Abstract:
The present invention related to a dielectric composition of a solid state display. The dielectric composition can be P2O5—ZnO-BaO glass, SiO2—ZnO-Ba2O3 glass of PbO—ZnO—B2O3 glass, and an oxide filler with a binary compound including PbTiO3 or a ternary compound including PbTiO3 and PbZrO3.
Abstract:
A sealing glass composition for bonding the upper plate and the lower plate of a flat panel display device is described. The sealing glass composition includes a low melting point glass containing PbO of less than 20% and having a sintering temperature of less than 500° C. The sealing glass composition contains a low component of PbO to thereby decrease environmental contamination and increase work efficiency. Also, the sealing glass prevents the deformation and cracking of a substrate caused by thermal and mechanical stress and reduces the sintering temperature to thereby enhance the airtightness of the sealing glass.

Abstract:
A composition of a plasma display panel (PDP) is disclosed. In order to effectively reduce a jitter, the composition contains a ferroelectric transparent ceramics material.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device with a color filter used as an electrode which improves both color purity and optical efficiency of the display device and a method for manufacturing the same. The display device with color filters used as electrodes in accordance with the present invention is achieved by forming conductive color filters on an upper substrate. The fabrication process is simple and accordingly the production yield is increased for thereby reducing the manufacturing cost. In addition, the light transmittance and optical efficiency are increased, and the color purity is increased and external light reflection is effectively shut off.
Abstract:
A dielectric composition for a plasma display panel. In the dielectric composition, a P2O5—ZnO—BaO group glass is used. Accordingly, the dielectric composition is capable of meeting optical, thermal and electrical characteristic requirements of a dielectric layer and allows the dielectric layer to have a light weight.
