摘要： A query analyzer may be used to identify a plurality of queries and associated query characteristics, the query characteristics including a corresponding dataset of data units for each query, wherein the data units are to be loaded from an offline memory into a memory of an in-memory database. Then, a sequencer may be used to select a selected dataset for loading into the memory of the in-memory database, based on dependencies between the plurality of queries as included within the query characteristics, and on relationships, if any, between the datasets.

摘要： A folding knife for applying a cutting action includes a blade assembly having a guard configured to cover the cutting edge of the blade when the knife is not in use. The guard is maintained in a normally blade covered position by a resilient member. The blade guard has a guard actuator for providing at least one motion for a user to move the blade guard from the normally blade covered position to an un-guarded or cutting position. The knife further includes an actuator for unlocking the blade assembly from the closed position to a locked open position. Upon depression of the actuator, the blade assembly will automatically open to a locked open position from a locked closed position.

摘要： A power-assisted system is to be assembled to a derailleur-equipped bicycle for providing an auxiliary force to the bicycle. The power-assisted system includes: a microcomputer; a pedaling-rate sensor; a bicycle-speed sensor; a shift-position source; and an auxiliary-force database including data about at least a pedaling rate, a running speed, a current gear ratio and the auxiliary force, for defining a ratio between the running speed and the current gear ratio as a first comparison value, and defining the pedaling rate as a second comparison value wherein an auxiliary-force comparison table is made of levels of the auxiliary force to be output corresponding to the first and second comparison values. The microcomputer uses a determining logic circuit to determine the suitable level of the auxiliary force to be output and control the auxiliary-force providing device to output the auxiliary force in the determined level.

The emulsifier has similar physical characteristics as conventional emulsifiers, with increased emulsifying capacity. Emulsifiers, such as gum Arabic or modified starch, conventionally used in food products can be easily replaced with the emulsifier to lower the cost of production.

摘要： An integrated inverter apparatus and a method of operating the same are disclosed. The integrated inverter apparatus includes at least two inverter units and a control unit. The inverter units are electrically connected in parallel to each other. At least one of the inverter units has a plurality of field-effect transistor (FET) switches and at least another one of the inverter units has a plurality of insulated gate bipolar transistor (IBGT) switches. The control unit is electrically connected to the inverter units to control the transistor switches of the corresponding inverter units when an optimal efficiency of the integrated inverter apparatus is reached at different operation conditions of the inverter units.

摘要： An uninterruptible power supply includes an input switching circuit, an AC-to-DC converting circuit, a bus capacitor, an energy storage unit, a charging circuit, a DC-to-DC converting circuit, and a system control circuit. The input switching circuit receives an input AC voltage. The AC-to-DC converting circuit is used for converting the input AC voltage into a bus voltage. The energy storage unit is used for storing electric energy. The charging circuit is used for charging the energy storage unit. The DC-to-DC converting circuit is used for converting the energy storage unit connecting node voltage into a regulated DC voltage. The system control circuit is used for controlling operations of the uninterruptible power supply. When the uninterruptible power supply is initiated, the AC-to-DC converting circuit is disabled and the bus capacitor is charged by the DC-to-DC converting circuit under control of the system control circuit.

The plural output units are connected with each other in parallel to issue the output voltage to the power output side and avoid returning electrical energy from the power output side back to the capacitor energy bleeder circuit. The detecting unit is used for detecting operating statuses of the plural power units. The controlling unit is used for controlling operations of the plural power units and the capacitor energy bleeder circuit. In response to a to-be-interrupted status of a specified power unit, the controlling unit controls the capacitor energy bleeder circuit to discharge electrical energy of the output capacitor unit corresponding to the specified power unit.
