The number-of-compressors controlling system has a plurality of compressors (2), a receiver tank (3) in which compressed air is supplied from these compressors (2) and is fed to a compressed air utilization device, a pressure sensor (4) provided on the receiver tank (3), and a number-of-compressors controller (5) which changes the number of compressors being operated based on the detected pressure of the pressure sensor (4). A number-of-compressors decreasing pressure as a threshold value whether or not the number of compressors being operated is decreased by the number-of-compressors controller (5) is set to be lower as the number of compressors being operated is larger.

Third, to attain a stable air ratio control in a low air ratio combustion region.Included are a combustion step in which hydrocarbon-containing fuel is burned by the burner to generate gas free of hydrocarbons but containing oxygen, nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide, an endothermic step in which endothermic device is used to absorb heat from gas generated in the combustion step, a hazardous-substance decreasing step in which the gas is brought into contact with an oxidation catalyst after the endothermic step to oxidize carbon monoxide contained in the gas by oxygen and reduce nitrogen oxides by carbon monoxide, and a concentration ratio adjusting step in which a concentration ratio of oxygen, nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide in gas on the primary side of the oxidation catalyst is adjusted to a predetermined concentration ratio on the basis of concentration ratio characteristics of the burner and the endothermic device by using the air-ratio adjusting device of the burner.

    摘要: A steam engine and an electric motor are arranged, which respectively drives an air compressor. The compressed air from the air compressor is supplied to a compressed air using device through a common air tank. The steam is supplied to the steam engine through a steam supply path, and the steam used in the steam engine is supplied to a steam using device through a steam exhaust path. The steam pressure is monitored by a pressure sensor arranged in a steam header ahead of the steam exhaust path. The air pressure is monitored by a pressure sensor arranged in an air tank. A steam supply valve is controlled based on the steam pressure and the air pressure, and the electric motor is controlled based on the air pressure. The steam engine is preferentially driven over the electric motor by shifting the target value of the air pressure.
