Abstract: The present disclosure provides adhesive articles that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced or eliminated contribution of a core backing to peel force generated by the adhesive during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a core that loses structural integrity in a direction normal to a plane defined by a major surface. In other instances, the contribution is reduced by compromising the interface between the core and a peelable adhesive layer.

Abstract: A pleated air filter media is provided. The pleated air filter media comprises a plurality of upstream linear bridging filaments that are extrusion-bonded to at least some of a plurality of upstream pleat tips of a fibrous web, and a plurality of downstream continuous-contact filaments that are extrusion-bonded to a downstream face of the fibrous web. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to air filters. More particularly, it relates to adjustably sized air filter systems useable in window opening. Some exemplary window air filter assemblies include two u-shaped frame members that can be coupled to form an adjustable frame assembly; and a filter media assembly that is attachable to the frame assembly and that includes an adjustable length media. The window filter assemblies are capable of moving between a collapsed state to an expanded state.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to multi-layer composite articles including at least two nonwoven web layers. Each or the layers may be a spunbonded web, and each may include biodegradable materials. The multi-layered composites of the present disclosure are particularly well suited for air filtration, as they can combine a high dust holding capacity with sufficient strength, dimensional stability, and a relatively low pressure drop.

Abstract: A single-layer spunbonded air-filtration web including meltspun autogenously bonded electret fibers with an Actual Fiber Diameter of from 3.0 microns to 15 microns. The air-filtration web exhibits a ratio of mean flow pore size to pore size range of from 0.55 to 2.5. Also disclosed are methods of making such webs, and methods of using such webs to perform air filtration.
