Abstract: The vehicular brake device includes a determination unit, a ratio setting unit, and the control unit. The determination unit determines the operating condition of a vehicular brake device. The ratio setting unit sets, on the basis of the result of determination by the determination unit, a first ratio which is the ratio of a wheel pressure generated by a piston drive unit to a target wheel pressure, and a second ratio which is the ratio of a wheel pressure generated by a hydraulic pressure adjusting unit to the target wheel pressure. The control unit controls the piston drive unit and the hydraulic pressure adjusting unit on the basis of the first ratio and the second ratio.

Abstract: A braking device includes: a reservoir; a master cylinder in which when the amount of operation performed on a brake pedal reaches or exceeds a predetermined amount, a port communicating between a pressure chamber and the reservoir is cut off and hydraulic pressure corresponding to the brake pedal operation amount is generated; a hydraulic pressure unit for adjusting the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure; and a control unit for controlling the hydraulic pressure unit. The control unit determines, based on a temperature-related value related to the temperature of a friction member pressed by the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure against a rotating member fixed to a wheel, whether the friction member is in a fade state. Abstract: A braking device includes a stroke simulator, a hydraulic pressure generation unit, a reaction hydraulic pressure detection unit, a master hydraulic pressure detection unit, and a bottoming determination unit. The stroke simulator includes a cylinder and a piston slidably movable inside the cylinder in conjunction with an operation of a brake operation member. The stroke simulator causes a reaction force chamber to generate a reaction hydraulic pressure and applies a reaction force. The hydraulic pressure generation unit generates a master hydraulic pressure by driving a master piston and supplies a hydraulic pressure to a wheel cylinder. The bottoming determination unit determines whether the master piston is in a bottoming state based on the reaction hydraulic pressure and the master hydraulic pressure.
