Abstract: A tank comprising a multi-layer structure, for storing compressed gas, including in succession from inside to outside at least the three following layers: at least one sealing layer of a composition including at least one semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyamide having a Tm of less than or equal to 280° C., at least one intermediate composite reinforcing layer of a fibrous material in the form of continuous fibres impregnated with a composition including at least one semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyamide having a Tg of less than 100° C., at least one outer composite reinforcing layer of a fibrous material in the form of continuous fibres impregnated with a composition including at least one polyphthalamide having a Tg of greater than 80° C., the outermost sealing layer being welded to the innermost intermediate composite reinforcing layer and the outermost intermediate composite reinforcing layer being welded to the innermost outer composite reinforcing layer.

Abstract: Impregnation of a fibrous material made from continuous fibres with a thermoplastic polymer matrix, the fibrous material comprising a thermoplastic sizing polymer and, before impregnation, an initial width. The method comprises an expansion step which is carried out by means of at least two tensioning members (E) and a heating system SC for heating the tensioning members and/or the fibrous material, the expansion being from 1.5 to 5 times the initial width. The expanded fibrous material is cooled below the Tg of the thermoplastic sizing polymer by means of a cooling system before being brought into contact with the thermoplastic polymer matrix.

Abstract: A tank for containing a pressurized fluid, including at least one cylindrical element made of a pultruded fibrous material impregnated with a thermoplastic matrix, a first cap placed at one end of at least one cylindrical element closing it, a second cap placed at the other end of at least one cylindrical element, fitted with an orifice intended to make possible the entry and the exit of the fluid, and at least one additional fibrous reinforcement, partially or completely surrounding the cylindrical element(s) and optionally the caps, the fibers contained in the additional fibrous reinforcement being positioned along a different axis from the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical element, the total content of fibers of the tank being of between 40% and 70% by volume, with respect to the volume of the matrix and of the fibers contained in the tank.
