摘要： A containment sleeve for use with a pressurized piping system including a pliable fabric sheet having first and second opposing longitudinal edges, first and second opposing transverse edges, and first and second opposing major surfaces respectively defining an interior and exterior surfaces. At least one pleat extends between the first and second transverse edges, the pleat being in a normally closed position to define the interior surface with a first surface area. The sheet of pliable fabric to secure about a portion of a pressurized piping system with the interior major surface facing the pipe so as to form a sleeve having an initial interior volume there about. In response to a rupture of the pressurized piping system within the interior volume, the pleat to expand to an open position to expand the interior surface to a second surface area to increase the interior volume from the initial volume.

摘要： Within examples, a method of manufacturing a double-walled titanium conduit is described. Example methods include stitch welding multiple concentric sheets to form a stitch layer, providing the stitch layer between an inner wall and an outer wall of the double-walled titanium conduit, circumferentially seam welding the inner wall and the outer wall to the stitch layer to create a welded assembly, die forming the welded assembly at temperature and pressure to form inner structures between the multiple concentric sheets according to stitch welding lines and to enable a diffusion bond process among the inner wall, the stitch layer, and the outer wall, and removing the double-walled titanium conduit from the die.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for hardening the interior surface of a long, thin-walled, small inside diameter, tubular member, such as a tube which would be used to form a downhole pump barrel. More particularly, it relates to a process involving progressive heating with an internally positioned, electro-magnetic induction coil, followed by immediate quenching with a quench ring assembly, to develop a martensitic case on the inner surface of the tube.
