Abstract: Time-spaced messaging for network communications is facilitated. An example method may include receiving a plurality of messages at a message rate. The method may further include determining a number of the plurality of messages a network device is unable to process. The method may further include determining, based on the number, a miss rate associated with the plurality of messages. The method may further include determining whether the miss rate exceeds a threshold miss rate and, if the miss rate is determined to exceed the threshold miss rate, determining a time delay based on the miss rate and message rate, and applying the first time delay to at least one message received subsequent to the plurality of messages.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to facilitate time-spaced messaging for network communications are disclosed. An example method may include receiving a plurality of messages at a message rate. The method may further include determining a number of the plurality of messages a network device is unable to process. Abstract: A method for optimizing group communication services, the method comprising instantiating an adaptive homing tool as a virtual network function, the adaptive homing tool communicating with a centralized database in a multiple region telecommunications network; storing a user identification for plural group members in the database; when a service request is made by at least one group member that has moved outside of connectivity with a group home server, receiving group member location data for the plural group members in real time; assigning a group control application server to at least one group member when a group member initiates a service request; wherein the common service tool assigns the group application control server based on at least one of the priority data, group member location data, least network resources used, best path performance, shortest path performance, and quality of service.

Abstract: The disclosed technology is generally directed towards, for interworking function interworking group call services, configuring each of the interworking groups with a separate group home server, with the servers coupled to one another via an interworking function. The interworking function receives a floor taken message from one server, and, in response, obtains a floor grant from the other server, which facilitates communication from a device to which the floor was granted to other devices, including devices associated with the other server. If the interworking function receives colliding floor taken messages from both servers, the interworking function performs mediation to determine which server/user has a higher priority level. The interworking function acknowledges the floor taken message to the higher priority server, and sends a floor request (with high priority) message to the other server, which triggers a floor revoke message to a device on the lower priority side.
